  1. hardware sharing? http://hwbot.org/submission/2381177_liping777_superpi___32m_core_i5_3570k_5min_2sec_63ms/ is this not the same?
  2. Did not try more than 1.9v on air, as that was enough to run 2600 8-11-7-22 with everything else tight. Only thing I have to say about BBSE binning is they probably all need to be tested under cold, which sucks because it is a lot of time and work.
  3. Sam's BBSE under cold:) brix shat:p This kit is good for 2600 on air, but it seems that it does not like voltage, all the above was done with 1.9v as more would cause it to fail quicker. Also dimm temps needed to be at -85c to -100c as much more would cause it to fail. I am starting to think some dimms do not like the extreme cold, and once again, bad on air = good on cold, and good on air = bad on cold. This kit would not do 2600 c7 or c6 at any volts. I corrupted Windows more times in this session as setting anything => 2.0v was insta corrupt and reinstall. Still have the black PCB to test:D
  4. Have you tried it in another board to verify this behavior?
  5. Nice bro, is this half of the RipjawZ 2400 8-11-11-31 X79 kit?
  6. sister set new shee pee uuuu Probably one of the frostiest sessions:YIPPIE: slowly working it's way down:D and a new low:eek: SF3D from last session, awesome pot just didn't seem to get as cold. results
  7. this took 1.94v on the memory, far more than is needed on other boards, and when I tried to tighten up the secondaries and tertiaries, constant fails after loop 9.
  8. I am starting to think this board is a bit gimped, I can not raise bclk past 104.2 anything above that and it fails to boot regardless of memory timings. Need to get this figured out as no chance of going cold without > 105 bclk.
  9. Thanks for the advice Sam, will keep this in mind as 2600 seems pretty hard to even boot whether I am on 1:13 or 1:9. 2500 c7 twcl7 seems pretty doable, trying twcl 6
  10. 3251B377, newest Costa batch I have seen so far.
  11. No more problems, it was a user issue:p
  12. Awww good news, I thought there might have been really something wrong:p Thanks for the help Christian, guess I can stop wasting time trying to fix it and actually figure out how to make PSC run on this beast! The new E1/L1 seems to like low volts so should be good on cold as 2 out of 3 are doing 5Ghz 32M <1.32v
  13. Tried it and it now just reboots when trying to enter the bios on B. I am also updating ME if that matters. edit: Just tried it with no ME update and still just reboots.
  14. feeling out the Mpower, turns out bios B is corrupted but A is working fine. Thanks Albrecht & zzolio, board seems to be fine until I try to go 2600+ on PSC, any tips for that? the above run was with tWCL 6
  15. CPUZ lists E1/L1 under Revision, still stepping 9 will post a screen in a bit. The first two seem good 4c 4t 1.3-1.32 5Ghz 32M
  16. Direct BIOS boot button just does not work, will change power options to Custom, as I have been disabling it. Thanks zzolio, will post back shortly. It was power options set to Custom indeed, everything working fine now.
  17. Does not work, in fact it does nothing at all when pressed.
  18. hmm where is this on the board, black button next to the bios switch that says SW1?
  19. ^Awesome George, glad to see you posting:)
  20. Removing ssd and swapping memory on second bios chip (B) results in a hang after pressing delete to enter UEFI. Btw bclk changes no problem, multi is just not setting on bios A with the beta you linked.
  21. 2400 c8 RipjawZ PSC, first bios boots in, second is hanging on Entering Setup. CMOS flash both times and it is still hanging. Weird.
  22. The other bios chip hangs on Entering Setup:( So much fail tonight lol
  23. Wow nothing with 82, about to try 81 I am about to throw this turd in the Asrock and see what happens, as my friend that is binning the other chips say they work fine on the MVG.
