15K should be doable. I think this card just proofs, that some users have been binning many cards or they have been very lucky. No secret mods, no secret bios files. Just card + some experience and it is done.

Wow, it is legal to produce alcohol in there? In here you can not produce your own alcohol and it is illegal. That place you have there, would mean 2 years in prison in here, if you would have been selling it long time You can bring it in your luggage, but not in hand luggage of course. Put it in your suitcase.

I got my second HD 7970 card this week. It is better than previous one. Will do more serious attempts later with this. It was running 1700mhz through game tests but it crashed just in the beginning of combined test and that happened twice Then I run out of ln2 like so so many times before. Hiwa, yes finally we meet. It will be very nice to meet all the other overclockers, who I havn't been able to meet before. Good to see, that there is a lot of old friends there as well. Haha! I hope there will be some place to stay. There must be a lot of low level sleeping places, who are not listed on websites. Now there is only "good" hotels, what I can see from here.

I found some perferct flights now, but there is no room in any hotel. If I can find some place to sleep, I will join you guys. If someone can help, it would be cool I am small, so I can easily sleep on a couch or something.

My reference 7970 is full of cables and variable recistors, but max it can do is 1600MHz/2000MHz with bad performance. Even you know how to mod, you still need to have good GPU as well. There you need to have supergood contacts or waste stupid amount of money. The fact, that overclocking have become a lot more easy with software voltage control, does not take any credit out from the guys who did run their GTX 580 lightnings 1600MHz+. There is still a lot of work on those runs. I don't know what was the point of my post, but I wrote this anyway

So true! These vendors who have joined have done a lot of good things for the site, so we all can enjoy about it now in 2012. If all of them would have just posted scores in here, this site would have gone down in 2009. I think people forget this too easily. Hwbot is VERY important for this community, hobby and industry as well, cause FM hall of fame have not been that interesting in last years. (I checked FM hall of fame last time in 2010.. or 2009) This discussion here is not my business at all, but I had to thank those vendors who gave this site a chance

Good. All mods could have been posted earlier, cause there was no real competition. But better late than never I think we will see very nice results in upcoming weeks. I will wait non reference cards though..
