I spawned a new tab by middle clicking on the 292 for your P5E and added "&limit=300" to the URL in the new tab and then just found your top ref freq score in the list... This is the link: http://hwbot.org/search/submissions/permalink?username=WhiteWulfe&mbModelId=1690&mbManufacturerId=188&limit=300

Tried that, didn't work.
That's rubbish. I reckon even though macs has a better score on a different socket than his old score with AM2+ board/AM3 CPU, it's blocking yours anyway.
-
Just give it a recalc and refresh. it should then show in the rankings again...

don't hold your breath! mods are thin on the ground and very busy.

Now that it's been over 48hrs since the background change it's worrying me that some buggy "first half" submissions are still up in the air:
- My 406 MHz AM3 BCLK sub not counting because of the CPU socket vs. motherboard socket mixup in in that stage. It's a tough one because the rules actually still state the CPU socket counts but @Leeghoofd made the call earlier in this thread that it should be motherboard socket - can we have clarity once and for all on this matter? ?
@unityofsaints, you should try recalc you ref freq score, macs has put up a s754 entry that trumps his AM2+/AM3 score so your AM3 score should count now but last time I checked it wasn't showing even though the score it's still entered in the comp...

For the Night Raid submission, it says valid UL link. Is unapproved driver an allowed exception? I don't understand why the driver for my board which has been up since August hasn't been tested/approved, it's an official driver, not a beta.

Apparently not. Valid link required...

They just haven't been reported yet
or spotted by the ever fewer moderators around here. Windows 7 on the same hardware is fine.

Reference clock goes off the motherboard Alby has already said so.
Talk to him about it when he gets back.
Just now, ObscureParadox said:Reference clock is based off the motherboard socket and all CPU benchmarks are based off the CPUs intended socket.
As simple as that
Well that's not how it's actually working at present. I guess it will be fixed before the end. ?

@Leeghoofd needing clarification here.
Two AM3 chips used in two different boards (one AM3 on AM2+), count as two subs? (so go by the mobo socket)
Two different 775 boards used, one s771 cpu and one s775 cpu, count as two subs? (so go by the cpu socket)
Which is correct? This thread has confused me
For the Reference Frequency Stage it seems to be based on the Socket the CPU is intended for. Here unityofsaints' score using an AM3 Phenom II X4 970 on the C4E (an AM3 board):
is apparently being trumped by macsbeach98's score using an AM3 Sempron 145 on the AM2+ 790FXB-M2RSH:
I think the Reference Frequency stage should be based on the Socket of the Mainboard rather than the CPU being used as seems to be the case. For CPU benchmarks it should be as it is - i.e. based on the CPU socket.

yeah XTU should totally go. How can it be global when it's specific to Intel?
Should you not wait until _mat_ gets GPUPI 4.0 out the door before abandoning GPUPI 3.2 and below?-

Hmm, why is GPU-Z sensors tab required for CC? Cooling methods are unlimited as far as I know, so not because of temps... this is not LCC, so no clock limit either. Most people (me included) open the GPU-Z after the run is finished... so there is nothing to see besides idle status of the GPU.
I don't mind putting extra window on the screenshot, just don't see the point as it shows no relevant info.
Run the render test and it will show the boost clocks.
-
Would getting rid of the XTU results that are about 48% of all results in the database help with reducing the server load?

Looks like I'm missing something. Admittedly, I haven't been keeping up with HWBOT rules very well lately. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?
http://hwbot.org/submission/3990096_
Thx!
I think that has something to do with the scoring on a per core basis... did you use the submit score button from the competition page or the regular submit score button? I have found the same problem when using the regular button for certain competion scores... (can't remember which exactly)
Should work:
Doesn't work for some comp benches:

I would think so but I'm not 100% sure how the comp rankings work hah. I can remove his 2700x score if desired.
Better ask Bilko I guess... Thanks Gearge.

I uploaded a Country Cup 2018 - HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k score using Socket AM4 / Ryzen 3 2200G but it does not show in the team contribution ranking. Bilko had an AM4 / Ryzen 7 2700X score but he has since uploaded an X399 / 2920X score, should his higher score negate his earlier (lower) score from the other socket?

thanks heaps for taking the time. ?

As for the Team Points being the sum of points for the current year, won't that lead to gaming the system by rebenching all of your hardware that gets the best scores every year plus what ever new hardware benched that gets a good score?

Please change Power Supple brand from Antec to Seasonic and remove "TruePower Quattro" from the Series field. Sorry for the hassle, I'd fix it myself but the comp has ended so I can no longer edit the entry.
http://hwbot.org/submission/3916407_cbjaust_3dmark_99_max_geforce2_mx_12340_marks
Thanks in advance.

The so called "Team" rankings in the proposed revision is pretty much pointless if it is going to rely on the same ranking scheme. As it is now there is incentive to bench anything and everything since points are awarded separately best team scores. New Rev. will obliterate that incentive and make the very concept of Teams worthless.

Afaik it's been accepted that there is a 5% diff between valid and screenshots for the last few comps.
Like in Team Cup with memory frequency. Ref freq should be no different compared to that.
Fair enough, but why couldn't you get your screenshot to match your CPU-Z validation?

it is per nvidia card family so a 780 won't replace a 580 score. Not to say there aren't glitches though.
