I also posted a score yesterday for Time Spy with a GTX 780,  was a valid submission.  Did not see it in the list for the USA, the lowest score was with GTX 580 should of replaced it.

Looks ok to me, not sure why it didn't bump our 580 sub.

it is per nvidia card family so a 780 won't replace a 580 score. Not to say there aren't glitches though.

Now that it's been over 48hrs since the background change it's worrying me that some buggy "first half" submissions are still up in the air:

    1. My  406 MHz AM3 BCLK sub not counting because of the CPU socket vs. motherboard socket mixup in in that stage. It's a tough one because the rules actually still state the CPU socket counts but @Leeghoofd made the call earlier in this thread that it should be motherboard socket - can we have clarity once and for all on this matter? ?

@unityofsaints, you should try recalc you ref freq score, macs has put up a s754 entry that trumps his AM2+/AM3 score so your AM3 score should count now but last time I checked it wasn't showing even though the score it's still entered in the comp...

For the Night Raid submission, it says valid UL link. Is unapproved driver an allowed exception? I don't understand why the driver for my board which has been up since August hasn't been tested/approved, it's an official driver, not a beta.

For stage 9 and 10 a Futuremark verification link is required and must be VALID at UL website

    Apparently not. Valid link required...

Reference clock goes off the motherboard Alby has already said so.

Talk to him about it when he gets back.

Reference clock is based off the motherboard socket and all CPU benchmarks are based off the CPUs intended socket.

    As simple as that :)

Well that's not how it's actually working at present. I guess it will be fixed before the end. ?

    @Leeghoofd needing clarification here.

Two AM3 chips used in two different boards (one AM3 on AM2+), count as two subs? (so go by the mobo socket)

Two different 775 boards used, one s771 cpu and one s775 cpu, count as two subs? (so go by the cpu socket)

Which is correct? This thread has confused me :D

For the Reference Frequency Stage it seems to be based on the Socket the CPU is intended for. Here unityofsaints' score using an AM3 Phenom II X4 970 on the C4E (an AM3 board):

    http://hwbot.org/submission/4004746_unityofsaints_reference_frequency_crosshair_iv_extreme_405.85_mhz

is apparently being trumped by macsbeach98's score using an AM3 Sempron 145 on the AM2+ 790FXB-M2RSH:

    http://hwbot.org/submission/3974543_macsbeach98_reference_frequency_lanparty_dk_790fxb_m2rsh_429.97_mhz

I think the Reference Frequency stage should be based on the Socket of the Mainboard rather than the CPU being used as seems to be the case. For CPU benchmarks it should be as it is - i.e. based on the CPU socket.

Hmm,  why is GPU-Z sensors tab required for CC? Cooling methods are unlimited as far as I know, so not because of temps... this is not LCC, so no clock limit either. Most people (me included) open the GPU-Z after the run is finished... so there is nothing to see besides idle status of the GPU. :)

I don't mind putting extra window on the screenshot, just don't see the point as it shows no relevant info.

Run the render test and it will show the boost clocks.

Looks like I'm missing something. Admittedly, I haven't been keeping up with HWBOT rules very well lately. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?

    Thx!

I think that has something to do with the scoring on a per core basis... did you use the submit score button from the competition page or the regular submit score button? I have found the same problem when using the regular button for certain competion scores... (can't remember which exactly)

    Should work:

Doesn't work for some comp benches:

  8. I uploaded a Country Cup 2018 - HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k score using Socket AM4 / Ryzen 3 2200G but it does not show in the team contribution ranking. Bilko had an AM4 / Ryzen 7 2700X score but he has since uploaded an X399 / 2920X score, should his higher score negate his earlier (lower) score from the other socket?
