  1. ok I think ,i'll give it a try for just under 2.00 volt next weekend and see how it goes. Thanks
  2. I was at 1.9volt (bios) for this validation and there was enough improvement from previous @1.85volt. I am tempted for more ... but i dont want to risk and lose these sticks , both do almost identical speed. That's why i ask.
  3. How much voltage is considered to be safe for aircooled CFR ? Just for max validation ... not benching. I want to see if this mem module have any more speed left (or my IMC perhaps). http://hwbot.org/submission/2480558_tasos_memory_clock_ddr3_sdram_1727.8_mhz
  4. Another odd thing is , that he always have perfectly rounded numbers on fsb. ?
  5. In team achievement section. The one for 2500 golden cups , should be a level 6 (instead of level 3)and it has a wrong icon also.
  6. That's just a news post from a tech site and nothing more. That procedure , doesnt make sense at all. Perhaps you should reconsider things a bit more. There's even different NDA types (non-disclosure agreement) and dates for different persons. Even more , there where NDA's and announcements in the past and no official release of a product (AMD cpu's for example). You are blocking results for typical reasons and minor details ... and on the other hand you are permitting results done with a non existant board or a board that only friends and family of the company actually had , at that date. Anyway that's my opinion. At the end it's your call. Your game , your rules.
  7. NDA is not the case here. Is there a link for the official release of the board with an October date ? Cause the one i posted above (from asus.com) , clearly shows 20/11/2013.
  8. Ticket ID: 1848 Priority: Low Please add this one also. http://ark.intel.com/products/69360/Intel-Pentium-Processor-997-2M-Cache-1_60-GHz
  9. Yeap , that's it. Thanks Too many almost identical cpu's
  10. Hi there I dont want to mess with any of the results. At the beggining , i was trying to figure out what kind of result is this one http://valid.canardpc.com/78t5qp
  11. First of all , congrats to the winners and all participants. I've got a "strange" e-mail , with a question for the hwbot crew (i dont know from who and why they picked me for it ... i have no clue). The question for the hwbot crew is : The results done and submitted with a Rampage IV Black Edition , are considered valid results for the competition of Country Cup ? http://www.asus.com/News/aFpGZ4W8zTa9IOQl
  12. Ticket ID: 1847 Priority: Low Actually almost the same as B815 , with different Intel HD gpu speed. http://ark.intel.com/products/55657/Intel-Celeron-Processor-B810-2M-Cache-1_60-GHz http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/292/Intel_Mobile_Celeron_Dual-Core_B810_vs_Intel_Mobile_Celeron_Dual-Core_B815.html Should we add it ? Cause i see mixed results in the B815 section.
  13. This result also needs a correction regarding real cpu speed , for statistical reasons.
  14. What's the real frequency for this bench ? Is it 5770 ? Somebody must edit and correct it , even for statistical reasons.
  15. I keep getting this message
  16. Does this Gigabyte service-tool still work ? http://gigabytedaily.blogspot.gr/2012/02/really-cool-gigabyte-mobo-warranty.html Is there an alternative for Europe ?
  17. Somebody must update the 1st post. Especially with the retail results , that are usefull to regular users.
  18. I had asked the exact same thing in the past and was told that this limitation is for security reasons.
  19. Yes in Windows XP SP3 , it doesnt show a score.
  20. He did that to a couple members of my team also.
  21. This is my easy 5G validation. I can boot to windows with this voltage and run something light like 1M http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2448296_tasos_cpu_frequency_core_i7_4930k_5009.93_mhz/ And this 5.2G is on the edge (watercooled). http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2448300_tasos_cpu_frequency_core_i7_4930k_5200_mhz
  22. We have similar fpo/batch. (mine is 3325A911) der8auer also has (had) a similar one. Ours are 4930k though. I can cinebench @ 4.9 with 1.38 volt watercooled. @5Ghz i need +0.12 volt and temps are raising fast. I need less than 1.2 volt (s.a.) for 3000 Mhz superpi32m But every cpu (and imc) is unique and yours might need some extra voltage for high mem clocks. I believe that anything under 1.20 for both vtt and sa , is supersafe.
  23. The 1st time i tried for a max. memory speed with these two good looking sticks , i was on a 3770k and Asus MVG , with everything air-cooled. I got an amazing 1572 Mhz http://hwbot.org/submission/2368903_tasos_memory_clock_ddr3_sdram_1572.2_mhz/ Back then , i was almost certain , it was my IMC that was the limiting factor. Cause later at a subzero effort , the result was the same. In fact it was more a bclk limitation on 2933 divider. Now at my 2nd try with these sticks , still air-cooled , i got the result below , on a X79 Asus RIVE. I couldnt believe that an Ivy on X79 , could push these hynix CFR so far. (even for just a max validation). http://hwbot.org/submission/2444026_tasos_memory_clock_ddr3_sdram_1655.1_mhz Now i'm still curious , if this is the end for this sticks ... or it's my IMC again. I know i have an upsolute max 189.67 bclk on 166 strap with this board. http://hwbot.org/submission/2434844_tasos_reference_clock_rampage_iv_extreme_189.67_mhz I've got to find a Haswell system ... it's the only way.
