  1. Want to make your GTX 780 sing , head on over to klngpln forum an check out the recently posted GTX 780 complete volt mod guide for it , as always great work and easy guide to volt moding by TiN :ws:. Enjoy it. http://kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2290
  2. Confirmed Kenny's finding and Eeky , quick test on 460 with driver 320.14 w7x64bit , overclocked limit still is 999Mhz and that is for all Fermis , this sucks.
  3. lol hahahaha ...@ T0lsty @Neyasit , MSI card has cold slow problem in subzero , also has a cold bug very low at -8c , not worth it unless we get our hands on a cold slow , cb ,cbb bios from msi , maybe run on chilled water is the best for this card with modified bios
  4. Later on tonight it will go LN2 , I hope it does not have cold slow problems or cb cbb that has been reported already , cross fingers , by the way it is an MSI card .
  5. Sure , it was on stock air cooler. I expect on LN2 no less than 1600Mhz
  6. Excellent work S A V , insulation is top notch , awesome results and frosty pictures ,like !
  7. , NickyBoy my friend you have made a monster board with an awesome feature that we all need :ws: , no condensation issues For The Win !
  8. Thanks for the info I did not know that , I wonder how all this old drivers will score in new 3DMark nvidia ? against new polished ati performance drivers ? gtx560 448 old drivers versus hd7790 with new drivers
  9. For older Fermi card GTX 460 the only drivers that have no overclock limits are only this set of old drivers , ForceWare 290.53 W7 x64bit , as per my limited testing ,but since the GTX 560 448SP is newer me thinks only 300.xx drivers work on them meaning limited overclock 999mhz maximum and limited/cap performance at this low clocks, someone correct me if im wrong , I hope you guys can sort this out for those willing to use GTX560 448 for MOA class B , if not HD7790 will absolutly rule this class B . http://hwbot.org/submission/2373326_chispy_3dmark_vantage___performance_geforce_gtx_460_(256bit)_24363_marks
  10. Looking promising the new chippies ! Nice.
  11. I can Confirm you guys finding here too ! +1 it happened to me a few months ago, running GTX 460 clocks are locked to 999Mhz core even thought it can run 1060Mhz on older drivers, with drivers newer than 301.xx overclock is locked and limited by this new drivers to 999Mhz , also tested a few more cards as stated by CN (GT 430 , GT520 etc....) they are locked too. I think this limit impose by the NVidia drivers is hindering the performance for a lot of people
  12. Pieter , this trip is a no go for me this year , count me out, I am trying to get the hard situation with my Blue cascade straighten out , as there is a couple of thousand dollars involved on this and I am still waiting on the outcome and complete repair of it so cannot go anywhere until this big issue is completely resolved , also after I bought a Titan there is no money left for this trip lol. Most likely I will meet you guys next year if God permit . Have fun everyone ! Kind Regards: Angelo
  13. Congratz Sam , well done , 7Ghz validation is a nice achievement done only by a few , keep up the good work !
  14. Gino ,you did that volt mod on the lab 501 picture to add voltage and that's all the hard mods needed for more voltage ? Thank you bro. I just need a bit more voltage range between 1.35v ~ 1.40v.core max. For the life of me I cannot raise v.core via software with any tool , so indeed hardmod its a must. So no software can adjust voltages ? I have soldered wires for measure v.core and v.mem and the readings under load 3d are always the same 1.21v. no matter what software I use to get more voltage it does not change or work even when I move the slider for v.core up or down in MSI SB or Asus software.
  15. Beast cpu , Awsome score and great efficiency Allen , this time I bet you had a perfect mount , congratz , well done !
