  1. Hey Rich- thanks for jumping in I didnt know only one title was available. Cheers!
  2. Sorry Massman- im talking about weeks and months. Jabski has been had over 50 golden medals for...possibly towards 6 months? but hes not listed. Hes the most obvious example I can think of but im sure theres others. There must be lots more ppl who qualify for hardware junkie than those listed because of the volume of hardware available to get silverware with. K
  3. Are these updating ok? They look a bit out of date. Also- how long does it take for updates for these titles to come across to a members page? (the medal and info at the top of every benchers page) Cheers! K
  4. Skulltrail wont matter- overall score will be 100% limited by GPU
  5. The ptions appeared again for me towards thr end of yesterday. Might have been a really old result I was looking at- some of those dont have the options... cant remember which result it was but things seem generally fine now
  6. Please can we have the options back to modify our submissions? It would be useful for when we have to move FM verification URLs between FM accounts if nothing else. Also- please can we have the option of deleting old results- even if it just means hiding them from our view? I dont want to see my old scores that iv beaten.....
  7. Would it be possible (or even a good idea!) to have our hardware and global points listed separately at the top of our profiles so we can see how we're doing? K
  8. Is the latest version of CPU-Z only needed for CPU-Z validation results or is the latest version demanded/highly preferred for all results? I have some 1.4.6.x results I was hoping to accumulate and submit in one go, but I hear 1.47 is due in a few days and i dont want to lose the results I have so far (and im not ready to submit either..unless I HAVE to...) Most of the time it doesnt make any difference to the result accuracy, the CPU-Z validation checker is the only place I can think of where the version really matters...
  9. Keeps my profile page clean No other reason
  10. bump..pretty please can someone delete these?
  11. Thats possible- in your options cou can choose what team to bench for, including "no team" K
  12. Benchtec have a group score login. All the results are legit- the scores came/come from sponsored hardware or group bench sessions. We have new scores from I34, but im reluctant to allow them to be posted because a group score login is apparently a gray area? HWB staff and any HWB member are welcome to look through BenchTec Group Score results- you wont find any discrepencies- we're not out to con folk. After some of the recent divided opinions about individuals submitting scores from group events, I would have thought a group title would be a good idea? I really think its the best (if not ONLY good) way to upload results in some situations. Please can we have permission to post these results, or ask HWB mods/admin to work towards a decision on if a group result login is allowed. Cheers! K
  13. Single card category and SLI/CF are ranked separately so its ok
  14. Id never do that. Started at 650MHz for a temp check- Riva wouldnt display the temp at all, and the coldbug had kicked in. Went to 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 950MHz and 1GHz. Only one or two artifacts in Nature. Heres the 950MHz run- you can see part of it in the 1GHz rivatuner pic as well. iv turned the TEC down and will test again tomorrow (day off work) im hoping to avoid the coldbug and the score will be "normal" (and the clocks will be much lower...)
  15. I suppose a curio is the best way to describe it. I posted it in the GPU-Z HOF thread as an example of why its not a great idea
  16. coldbugged, throttling, but very clockable! Score scales, but pretty damned slowly!
  17. currently three viable...soon to be 4. Not a big deal in the grand scheme, except they are mainly the top-scoring cards and the future will see many more of them (not including the Asus X3, 7800GT Dual or 6600GT Dual) Does it seem fair that people who buy two (single core) GPUs for SLI/CF have to compete with people who buy three or four? not meant in a bitchy way, but the most obvious response to your point.....
  18. I agree completely- a 100% GPU bench would be very nice, but theres a strong chance if there was one it would be along the same lines as Sandra- just a GFLOP chart....
  19. Id like to add 2 1/2 reasons why GPU-Z HOF is not a good idea 1/ screeny of freq is pointless- nVidia and ATI dont care about raw MHz the same way Intel did. theres just no point to the bench except as another way to award silverware points 2/ It will give another skewed value to certain hardware 3/ This is a legitimate score, yet 100% BS at the same time: Yup...thats a 6600GT at 1GHz core, 3DM03 stable, with a TEC. These are my opinions, but its how I feel about the situation. IMHO raw MHz are meaningless
  20. Thanks Will highlight any runs I submit with a modded .inf so mods can check im not playing silly buggers....better safe than sorry
  21. If I found a good driver for benching but it didnt support a card I wanted to bench, would it be legal to mod the .inf so I could use the card with the driver? Cheers, K
  22. GPU-bottleneck ahoy! :D
  23. I had a great 5700LE back in the day
