  1. No way to squeeze out more than this: Too bad we didn't break the 6mins barrier... we need some more mhz here and there
  2. No way to squeeze out more than this: Too bad we didn't break the 6mins barrier... we need some more mhz here and there
  3. argh, I didn't know it, thanks for the clarification Allright, then we must work on the rams a little bit more, to break the 6mins barrier Hope to have good news later tonight!
  4. I didn't open a new thread just because it's an update. We changed the cpu and the rams, so this is our last run at 32M: Tonight we'll try to go under 6mins by playing with subtimings! We had no luck trying to use the 2400mhz ram setting...
  5. Oh, great, I still haven't do a single run at 3dm11... maybe tonight we'll give it a try, just to see how it looks Offline details and score make this bench suitable to be earned with points, probably Pieter is already working on it.
  6. So, after this hotfix, there is still the lack of subtest details visible offline, correct?
  7. Yes, I use LN2 on SB, I simply don't go below -40°c Anyway, ok, 5,2ghz SB is faster than 5,3ghz bloomfield, but if I must pay 500 euros (cpu+mobo) to "migrate" to another architecture, I want a good improvement... 500euros to have performances up by a 10/15% factor is not worthy. So we sold our previous 2600K and now we found that one, which is stable @ about 5.6ghz and THAT is something better in comparison with a bloomfield
  8. a 5240mhz cpu is worthless, since we had a 975 that could do around 5,3ghz in 3d benches Anyway, the cpu I reported a few days ago is finally in my hands, my friend decided to exchange it with mine since he doesn't overclock, so it's pointless if what's in his case can do 5,3 or 5,6ghz
  9. Hey thanks bob! For the mobo issue... it wasn't the mobo. It was a partially broken MC, I never saw a half broken part of a cpu, but that's the case. Anyway, cpu chaged, today we benched at around 5,57ghz, waaaay better
  10. Tested another one, same batch L101B381, a total disaster. This one SN is 0891, it can do max 52x multi, so 5.240mhz max, by adjusting a little the bclk. I can't still view a correlation between a good cpu and batch/sn
  11. Tried another CPU, just a fast run to see how it was. - L101B381 SN: 0184 / Giga UD4, 32M stable, HT on @ 5,6ghz. Didn't try to max out the frequencies, maybe something more is possible, having more time to try
  12. Pieter, in the batch list, mine is the L042B076 at 5300mhz. I tried it@ln2 and it maxed out at 5322. If you want to update, I have also the SN: it's 0060 Boblemagnifique has the same batch and he can do 400+mhz more, argh!
  13. Uops, I just noticed the "topic" description... it's not a videocard specifications request, of course, sorry for that
  14. Ticket ID: 1185 Priority: Low Hi Guys, I have my personal account as \"|ron\" but, since it\'s almost a year that I bench only with two other guys, I usually manage the \"AOC\" account to submit results etc...\r\nThe problem is that the \"AOC\" account has the auto-login function for the forums coupled with a wrong user account owned by a guy who no longer overclocks, since 3 years, \"Insane_Tech\".\r\nIs there a way to change, or better, to delete this association between AOC in the homepage and \"Insane_Tech\" in the forums?\r\nThanks
  15. Hi Guys, I have my personal account as "|ron" but, since it's almost a year that I bench only with two other guys, I usually manage the "AOC" account to submit results etc... 16. Thanks Hondacity! I just tried to revive those 2 slots by spraying them with Isopropyl Alcohol, let's wait a day or two and see if it comes back to life
  17. Ehy leeg, thanks mate! We are very satisfied with that mobo! The only weird thing is that today it blocks during post sequence with code "58" when I try to use one of the first two slots near to the socket. Everything well if I use one or both the "external" slots... Any idea?
  18. Guys, here it is the 109.2MHz validate
  19. A sub 7s PI 1M: Pifast@13,81sec: And finally Wprime 1024M e 32M: I hope to be back soon to update this topic with some 3d submission, we still have half dewar to play with
  20. Yesterday the AOC (me, 7ornado and TheKing) had the first session with Sandy@LN2... it has been a great day, for the results and for the fun as well We had only 2d benches, because after 5 hours of ln2, we spotted water around the socket zone, so the mobo refused to post... a day or two and it will be ok Here we go! Let's start with the 32M: Server2003 installed, no Waza, no maxmem ecc, we obtained this: 6m 20,937sec RAM@1184@9-12-9-24 Trfc80 At this time, we couldn't scale more with the Kingston kit so 7ornado told me "come on, let's pass to another bench, those kingston sticks aren't going to go anywhere better than this"... "Uhmm... no, we must have those sticks go even if they aren't so good! Let's mount our Ram Pot!". And here it is... (audio is of course in Italian, but don't worry, we were saying really stupid things ) CAS from 9 to 8, 0,5 seconds better... Going on... 7-11-9-24, Trfc80 Given that 32M is sensible to ram frequencies, why don't we try some strange combination of bclk/ram frequency? And here we go again Ram@2270mhz at 9-13-9-21 but this time BCLK@106.4MHz and multi at 50x! Nervousism incoming :asd: Our last step with the 32M, multi at 49x, BCLK@108.6 32M stable!!!! Final time, without Copy Waza, 6min 19.219sec, ram@2300MHz at 10-13-10-21! (definitely we need better chips, Hyper maybe ) We were so happy being stable at 32M at 108.6mhz BCLK, so we tried the max bclk frequency... I can say it's 109.2MHz, the validate is coming later today This is a good BCLK freq, 8 place in 2600K rankings Hwbot
  21. Guys, I found out what was wrong with TurboV: that tool needs Intel Management Components something, you can download it from asus website. Hope that turns out to be useful for someone else. Pieter, as you was saying, I was at 53x100 32M stable, 3dm01 stable etc... I went to 53x100,1 causing an instant freeze
  22. allright, thanks for the info. Right now I'm doing 32M@5,3, bios 1253 is a little better than 1204 for me. Later I'll post cpu batch in the other thread, since this one isn't still in the database
  23. and did you guys put it under ln2 (not necessarily at -50°c, but for example at 0°c) to see if it maxes out its frequencies? I think that having 50°c in idle at 1,5v could be a stability issue, that could be solved with our cold liquid friend
