  1. The bot was down a few hours a couple of days before. Lost many Global points once the bot was up again. The whole ranking etc CBR 20 got messed up. Probably others as well. Was it a server down or did the Hwbot service personale try the benchmate merging? If not.. Any time frame you have for the merging with benchmate? Thanks
  2. A question about validiation of scores for Hwbot ranking: Is this score below a valid or not valid Memory benchmark score? Several have subbed memory frequency benchmarks that don't fulfill the hwbot rules the way I understand for this benchmark. We have already +15 users that have subbed this way with (unchecked) scores on the ranking for DDR5 mem frequency. The scores for DDR4/5 need to be VALIDATED by CPUZ. Aka with Green stamp as posted in the rules and below for this benchmark. Please enlighten me if I have not fully understood the rules (can we post unchecked scores for this benchmark or not). Thanks https://hwbot.org/submission/5059645_kio_memory_frequency_ddr5_sdram_4087.9_mhz https://hwbot.org/submission/5060006_kio_memory_frequency_ddr5_sdram_4122.1_mhz The rules... https://hwbot.org/rules?referenceId=5304 Edit. For me, it looks a lot easier to reach very high mem frequency scores/high ranking if done with almost no load on the hardware.
  3. Not sure if this is the correct sub forum for this inquiry. So sorry if this isn't the appropriate thread to post in. Wrong Reported submission report. Got a notice about Reported submission on my profile. This is obviously wrong from the sender. The HW I used is posted in the correct hardware match. As 12900K for 12900K hardware match. Could some from the moderaration team please delete the report notice from my profile? Thanks. https://hwbot.org/moderator/reported Best regards -Per
  4. Thanks good sir. The SP is 92 (104 for the P-cores). I use an Arctic 420mm as in the pict of the setup. Not perfect but it is what it is for now. I have savapped the fans for something better. More noise if you load max fan speed, but thats only for benches
  5. Loosening points because of a few top benchers is still not nice. And many buy older hardware to try increase in ranking. A couple of newest HW won’t help much try come higher. Removing more and more benchmarks or points only because of a few make it less fun. But what do I know. Edit. Yep I know that they changed the bot to the better. Huge thanks for that. As a side note. The older 3D benchmarks is very fun to run.
  6. Because of the added points to stay on top? Easy talk about why bother with points if are on top of the points ranking. This doesn’t help the newbies or those on middle level that try increas their ranking.
  7. Please delete this sub. Wrong category benchmark. Thanks https://hwbot.org/submission/5019721_papusan_gpupi___1b_geforce_rtx_2080_ti_2sec_916ms
  8. Thanks. Depends if I find a new cheap card. Not much is aviable here home. We'll see
  9. Is there any reason for Asus still don't list F5-6400J3239G16GX2 kits on their Memory QVL list for the Z690 Apex board? I who thought their 2 sticks boards was solely their OC boards and that Asus would put more focus on memory validation for that board. They have it on their Memory QVL list for the 4 sticks Hero board. Oh' well, I expect they can't/or didn't have time to list it for both motherboards. I wonder if this has something with the low CAS timings mentioned G.skill sticks. I can't see it another ways why they did it so. So, weird they scrapped this sticks for the Apex board. Anyone who know the real reason? Thanks.
  10. Hi sir. Any reason a new beta bios have a lower version number than the last one posted? Or is it an older beta bios but with another microcode? Scrap it, I’m blind And thanks for all the support, good sir. Such info doesn't help much for others without posting what batch the MB is from. Maybe you have posted the batch nr before but please add what you have in results posts (this for all). Thanks 90MB18I0-M0AAY0 90MB18I0-M0EAY0 (November 2021) 90MB18I0-M0UAY1 (January 2022)
  11. Please delete the results. Wrong category https://hwbot.org/submission/4941101_papusan_as_ssd2.0_nvme_0_marks?recalculate=true Thanks
  12. Most from the rookie league post a single run XTU 2.0 or (old XTU). And many will only do that single run. Maybe 2 or 3 more later. But alll will be XTU benches.
  13. Is the point re-calculation done or still in works? https://hwbot.org/benchmark/gpupi_-_1b/rankings?hardwareTypeId=videocard_2716&cores=1#start=100#interval=50 Edit. I expect it is as this in many HW leaderboards. Scap it. The re-calculation is most likely in work and still needs a few days more.
  14. Why would you do that? From what i can see, you'll still get more points the better you do it. Not less. With your reasoning... Downclock max and try reach nr1 on the whole bot leaderboard?
  15. Yep, probably several ways do do it. But as I said, getting less point than before ain't the best way to get more people on the bot. And laptops become more popular and they come in all sorts of colors. Put it this way. With more popular HW as Alder lake desktop chips as 12900K you get more points now due big.Little. People with less popular HW/older stuff/Amd will come longer and longer far behind?
  16. Regarding the 3rd option. Less than than 50 submissions : 15 points means the HW point system will be worse for not so popular HW. Even 25 point cap at 50 subs will do that.
  17. I know, sir. But both Cpu's should show all real cores in the specs. No reason to list 8 cores for 12900K and 12 for the 12700K? This just make it confusing for the people Edit. Scrap it. 12900K is listed two places. One with 16 and one with 8?
  18. We'll have to see if they drag down the oc headroom or not. But I expect everything is possible with sub zero cooling?
  19. Yep, and 8 it will be if you try go after most boints on the bot. Leaker Allegedly Exposes Alder Lake's Inner Workings tomshardware.com A truckload of unconfirmed information https://www.tomshardware.com/news/leaker-allegedly-exposes-alder-lake-inner-workings "Alder Lake purportedly has good headroom for overclocking. The leaker mentioned that a 5.2 GHz to 5.3 GHz all-core boost clock is available if you turn off the Gracemont cores"
