  1. Just came across a site that listed the various HSW part numbers with ES Q-SPEC. Might be interesting for people who find engineering samples in the wild to identify what part they're dealing with. Website post is from December 23, 2012, by the way! PCH [*]QE8X = Q87 [*]QE8Y = Q85 [*]QE8Z = H87 [*]QE90 = Z87 [*]QE92 = B85 [*]QE91 = H81 Processor QD4C = ? 4c/4t QDE4 = 2.80GHz 4c/8t, B0 QDE5 = 2.60GHz 4c/8t QDE8 = 2.60GHz 4c/8t, B0, does not carry a product name, doesn't go over 30x on multi QE6S = Core i7 4770K (QS') QE6U = Core i7 4770 QE6V = Core i5 4670K QE6Z = Core i5 4670 QE70 = Core i5 4570 QE73 = Core i7 4770S QE74 = Core i5 4570S QE75 = Core i5 4670S QE77 = Core i5 4430S QE78 = Core i7 4770T QE79 = Core i5 4670T QE7A = Core i5 4765T QE7B = Core i5 4570T QE7D = Core i5 4430 QEH6 = Core i7 4770K (QS Prime) QG81 = Core i7 4790K QG84 = Core i5 4690K Source: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/PC_Shopping/M.1356228665.A.120.html
  2. I think people want to know from Meis' side rather than from yours
  3. Just for the record, I will repeat myself. One, if you post something in public I will assume it's to be viewed by everyone and it's okay to relay the news. Two, if you happen to see something you wish to have removed from the site all you need to do is send me a private message or email. Thanks. (ps: if you still feel it is necessary to fulminate in public, that is your choice)
  4. Lol, no party in that place The office is mainly set up to increase the support XTU.
  5. Mad, yes. I think Linsanity is John Lam, but I'm not sure about that. But, yeah, I guess so.
  6. Alrighty, contract signed. Another big step for HWBOT. Looks like I'm going to be stuck here for another year. Like I mind ... . Here are four of the pictures I took when checking the place out last week. Not too much to see right now, very empty. Gotta start looking for furniture tomorrow! In case you wonder, the place is about 15 ping which is about 50M².
  7. Damn. 41 overclockers attending Computex
  8. Well, I think no one can say this situation is totally unexpected and surprising
  9. Sure, let me just piss off a couple more people
  10. I wonder if the vaseline insulation is making the DrMOS die faster of some sort. The reason I'm asking is because I've heard a lot of complaints from the Australian bench scene about MSI boards dieing way too quickly (XPower, MPower, ...) with PWM blowing up, but fact of the matter is that I have never had an MSI board burn out like that. Even though I've had condensation on the PWM more than once. I never use vaseline, though, just paper towel. First board that burns out like that for you?
  11. Vaseline insulation?
  12. Haha, I was already wondering why you got so damn active all of a sudden
  13. Non-K sku IVB is L1 stepping here: http://img.hwbot.org/u5323/image_id_961030.png
  14. Another promotion for HWBOT members
  15. Der8auer needs a meme
  16. I can quickly test it here; hold on for about twenty minutes.
  17. You are using the advanced version, right Mike? I though the score was always showing in when I tested the benchmark here. Changed since last patch?
