  2. Can you try CPU-Z version 1.61.3 maybe? TR's board seems to detect the memory frequency correctly? http://hwbot.org/submission/2303096
  3. Not sure what to think anymore, Marc. All I know is that's what your girlfriend said after screaming "Yes, Pieter, Yes" I feel so macho right now
  4. Oh, wow. So it is true what they say: size doesn't matter; it's how you use it!
  5. I've added a CPU MHz fluctionation tolerance of +/_ 1MHz since CPU-Z jumps up and down once in a while. FYI, if you add a 5MHz tolerance to the competition it basically becomes a 4505MHz LLC
  6. I forwarded the info of the Team Captains to ECS. Let me check in with them tomorrow (today was free day because a typhoon) and see what's up .
  7. If you are asking why Hicookie did not come to your local office, don't blame Hicookie or HQ. Local offices have to invite Hicookie themselves in order to get him to join OC sessions. So, if you want him to OC with you, start hassling the local representatives
  8. Introduction So, as you all know, GIGABYTE's coming with a new line of Z77 boards. No more UD, from now on everything's UP! Hicookie flew out to Spain and France to give some technical support to the local teams as well as hang out with a bunch of EU overclockers. Pepinorang was asked by the French office to set up a small OC session and ... that's what he did! The main point of the session was basically to have fun and test the new boards. Most people focussed on random testing and hassling Hicookie with feedback. Hicookie did some nice 32M runs ... maybe he will post them later here. In any case, here are some pictures of the event. The were also posted on Facebook, but since some people (SoF mainly) complained about using Facebook to store the pictures I've also uploaded them to photobucket for your pleasure. 9. It's a small bug, added it to the buglist. You want me to do the unjoin manually?

  11. Hm, seems like a small bug. I've added it to the bugtracker. Do you want me to manually put you to 'no team'? Or is it not that urgent.

  13. Nice, Vivi. Ps - "MSI soliciting" sounds so wrong
  14. If the CPU doesn't lock at '23' I'd consider it a "pass" in terms of IMC binning. Of the 20 chips I tested, whenever it couldn't pass a certain frequency because of the IMC, it would show '23'. When it could pass, but memory wasn't good enough, it would show '55'. On air cooling, IMHO Samsung IC is stronger if you can run 1330+ C9-12-12 with tight subs. BBSE/PSC at 1250C8-12-8 with tight subs should not beat Samung IC ... but of course under cold they will.
  15. Then again ... I really don't have any problem with Asus whatsoever . It's quite funny that people make that kind of stories up, though
  16. Tbh, it's a pity the board shuts down so fast. Seems like the Gigabyte is actually quite a bit more efficient than the Gene :-/
