May 31st: TweakTown Computex 2016 Party with Corsair, Sapphire, and ZOTAC https://www.facebook.com/events/1556508267976925/
  2. To be decided. But for sure we don't have "infinite" amount of backup boards. Assume no backup. There are sufficient ways to win at the competition. There are prizes for the qualifier and the 1vs1 has already proven to give chances to the underdogs to win.
  3. We will pre-bin (as much as possible) At the end of the day the CPUs are to be returned and will be re-drawn for the next day.
  4. Only CPUs provided by us
  5. Another small update! The qualifiers will not be limited in frequency. Since the platform is new for everyone (*wink*) and the hardware is provided, it'll be a full-out-full-on qualifier. So, for all the critics out there: qualifier is "full-out", with "cash prize" and "provided hardware"
  6. Stage 2 is fixed
  7. Good question. There is security over night, but I will check what they recommend. Monitors are confirmed as well. Guys, if you're joining the event, book your ticket as soon as possible. We're arranging the monitors on a "need" basis ... If you book on the Monday, it's going to be difficult
  8. Thanks! It's really difficult to debug the bugged runs without having any SOP or files to look at in more detail

Mad is organizing the event, not me. (only now realized it's private)

It's June 1st Seems like it's a private event, not public
  11. Bob, is this your keyboard? Or maybe this one

Awesome!! First drinks are on me!

The CPU Sub-family database was updated in between the rounds. I copied the limitations from Round 1 to Round 2, unaware that this was changed. But what is the problem right now? I saw you submissions passed successfully?

    I don't get it?
  16. @Digg_de: can you send a couple of bugged + normal runs to my email: pieter@hwbot ...
  17. 99% certain SSDs will be provided as well . Keyboard / mouse: working on it. Beer - no beer at the venue! Blowtorch head: bring it yourself, Map gas: can be bought in Taipei LN2 pots: you might want to check with @k\|ngp\|n GPUs: none planned
  18. Background has been enabled. Not sure what's going on with Stage 2 - checked with Dev.
  19. Yes, a board is available for each seat. Whether you join the qualifier or not is up to you to decide. Monitors ... working on it. Worst case scenario: we have ~12 in office at the moment, all we can bring to Computex. For those who will join the event, get your ticket ASAP so we can budget and plan for getting all the monitors
  20. Small update: The following hardware will be provided for qualifier and finals: PSU: Seasonic 760W Platinum CPU Motherboard Memory
  21. Kudos to @lanbonden to come up with this round
  22. Correct. I will address R7 progress in a longer post later this week. But in short: the current version on UAT was a test to see if our new algorithms have any major flaws. They were in fact a bit generous with point distribution, and the League algorithm was not updated to handle the point calculation appropriately. I've already issued a v0.2 update internally to address most of the issues. This will reduce the points to a "normal level (Dancop ~ 3K points). More info soon
