  1. Just read this over at OCX: http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=6342 Can someone re-verify?
  2. I see we're getting predictable . About a week ago, we spend a little bit (read: couple of minutes) trying to figure out if we could make some application for the benchmark. We can easily extract the subtest results from the memory mapping and put it in a separate window. All subtests could then be visible. I'm sure we could also figure out what harddisk has been used, but that would require more time to be invested. Also, I have no idea what Futuremark would think of this. Since the software is still commercially available, I guess it's possible they won't like us hacking the software to extract information
  3. The rules for the multi are set. We can only work with what we have. Multi for 3DMark11 stage is open now
  4. We have different opinions and monitoring this thread. This discussion is interesting!
  5. FYI - We're currently using the Twitter timeline RSS as main RSS for HWBOT news. The RSS includes: frontpage news, random news tweets, new submission forum discussions and the news from the overclocking forum sections. Check it out: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/hwbot.rss
  6. Hello all, For some time now, I've been thinking about the place of SiSoft Sandra at HWBOT. The benchmark's rankings lost its meaning with all the different versions floating around and has been hwboint-less since 2007 and even back in 2006 we had a discussion about the future of the bench here at HWBOT (http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=336). For me, this benchmark is no longer needed at the bot. I notice from submission statistics that very few people are still submitting scores to it and if they do, it's probably just to fill their profile. In the last 7 months (2011) less than 100 people submitted a score to the database. Next to that, the vast amount of SiSoft versions makes comparison pretty much useless. I would propose to completely remove the benchmark from HWBOT. We can look for an alternative to replace SiSoft. So far, the reponses are quite unanimous: no one has really spoken for keeping Sandra as it is now. Vote!
  7. All goes, but: - 220 startup limit - no ramdisks
  8. This was just a first test, the benchmark isn't public yet. Good question! Do you have any suggestions for this? My knowledge on storage configurations is poor to say the least, so any suggestions coming from people with great know-how, like yourself, would be more than welcome
  9. For those who can't find the wallpaper:
  10. It's not just trust, mate. In the last MSI SuperPI competition we caught two people who increased the frequency during run.
  11. - Only one ticket to win in this contest: overall winner of all stages - Yes, you can use x49. I've updated the results. I'll ask if MSI wants the cpu limit in the 3D stage as well. Before you start benching, check the rules carefuly! You need to provide a CPU-Z validation of your run with the exact settings and have the end result in the title. Also, we can always ask you to re-run and video the result after the competition! Of course, cheating means immediate ban from HWBOT.
  12. You'll see when the competition starts.
  13. I opened this forum on a PC with UD9 and I was able to open the page. Now I changed back to the laptop and no acces anymore. :-/
  14. Not HiCookie, but it is software ...
  15. Just got this in the mailbox from someone who doesn't want to be mentioned by nickname. Probably very handy for the 580 SOC overclockers ... http://91.121.148.119/downloads/tools/N580SO_SW.rar
  16. It's funny 'cause it's true ...
  17. What does a man have to do to be allowed full access to everything here!
