  1. GTX 480 Lightning is allowed. Card should be retail in the USA in the first week of November. Added as exception to rules.
  2. To everyone: you heard the man! From now on, send all you hardware sharing accusations to Futuremark
  3. Ah, there's a known bug. There are two submissions that each are worth 3 global points. The engine, who's looking for the most rewarding score, cannot see a "most rewarding score" because there are two equal in value. This bug wil solve itself once one score increases/drops in points.
  4. Discussion the lightning problem as we speak. R5000 category has been updated to single GPU only, NV400 category is fully open for SR2/
  5. '01 will not die. We have backup plans
  6. Also, I don't think people really grasp the consequences of companies such as Futuremark being able to detect what exact sample you're using. If any company is able to lay their hands on black-on-white evidence that you have killed your CPU by overclocking, thus voiding warrenty terms, you will see a lot of people getting their RMA ignored. Obviously, when this would happen, people would complain about how evil corporations are again ...
  7. FM was able to detect score sharing, not hardware sharing. No software currently on the market is able to separate individual samples. Intel, AMD and Nvidia have software that can recognise on sample basis (eg: your 980X has different ID than mine), but for security reasons that software does not leave the company.
  8. Not per definition. There are always solution to problems. Hence why I'm trying to reach out to FM rather than start panicking, swearing or crying
  9. Looking forward to a speedier ORB . Retiring support for the older benchmarks is a pity, though. Hardcore overclockers are still loving the 3DMark01 and I think it'll be around for a lot longer than anyone can estimate. Maybe we can help out with that benchmark. //EDIT: "those benchmarks"
  10. No. The forum tags currently have no support for competition rankings. Will (hopefuly) come with Rev4.
  11. It's allowed. 4 other stages where you can try though. You're not from Americas, though? Yes. Q- For entry into the 1156 class-Stage #2> will Synergy based MSI mobo's be allowed.. if so, will running mixed GPU for final score be allowed? Good question. Not sure if it'll actually work. I have a Fuzion board here, I'll check to be sure.
  12. You can say what you want. HE gave ME a thumbs up!
  13. You only need to be in the top-2 of one of the stages to win. So, if you're aiming for NV400 category, you don't have to bother with the other categories.
  14. It's a bug. The 'no-boints' was designed to be only showing in ranks, but not getting cups, ranks or points. Also, it was designed not to affect any other scores in terms of cups, ranks or points. But it clearly does :-/
  15. I suppose Cedar Mill did higher on air?
  16. The performance was the same from beginning untill the end of the testing, roughly 5-6h or running Vantage. The slowdown only appeared after a few hours. Window was open, so room temperature was relatively ok.
  17. I had active cooling on PWM part leading to IOH and IOH didn't feel that hot. Doesn't explain the low FPS either ...
  18. I'll do it afterwards. - issue not replicated with 1/2/3 GPUs - dual PSU: 1x1000W for 3 cards, 1x 1000W for mainboard and gpu - molex are plugged in - screen corruption are memory artifacts I have this slowdown crash with cards at stock as well. The CPU frequency was stable before (same session, same voltages ...).
