Yes. The score will say N/A if the CPU release date wasn't configured in the database. We can just update it easily (as I did now).

If we'd have an application that could detect what the setting was at boot and if it has been changed since, we'd already be a long way to a solution. I think for the moment the biggest problem is that it is apparently possible to: boot with RTC run bench with RTC switch to HPET in registry Because the switch only applies next reboot and the registry says "it's HPET", any application would indicate HPET was used even if RTC was used. So an application that could tell us with 100% certainty what the active reference clock is, would already help.

Thanks for the link to this application. The main concern is that we want to make it so that people with Win8/8.1/10 can bench without having to worry about the HPET RTC. As genieben mentioned: it's still possible to make it look like HPET was used, if RTC was used. Do you think it's possible to develop a tool that would serve as a screenshot generator, but also has an online connection checking if HPET or RTC is used? So if a user wants to make a screenshot of the verification, the app checks the timing of the system online to see if the system time equals "real" time. Or even require the app to be open during the benchmark run or so ...

I agree with sorting global points per memory type. This requires quite a bit of reword in the points code, though. I'm not convinced we should move those benchmarks to "mainboard".
Not a bad thread. I like what Alva wrote. But he's a bit biased, because the OC scene in Indonesia is really awesome . In general, I think a lot has to do with insufficient communication. It's weird hearing 10 different versions of a story from 10 different people. For some reason there's a trend of "backdoor talk" too. You know, this "he said this about you" kind of thing. I don't really like that kind of talk, and prefer to ignore most of it. Luckily after a while you know the people you can trust and those you have to be careful with . In the end, there will be people who hate you no matter what you do. They will just hate you because you are you. Best thing is to get over it and move on.
Good point! I suppose it shouldn't be too difficult to add a CPU and Memory cooling option to the filter. Thanks for the feedback!

No, we checked all the scores and the results were done at a live environment. FYI, this is what was written in the article: "For memory frequency validation records it seems obvious we must rely on additional verification by means of the oscilloscope, or at live events by verifying correct functioning of the motherboards prior to the record attempts"
