  1. Seems in order to me will try some additional values for them thanks websmile Edit: Looks like only CL is affected as other valuse can be reduced w/o issues but lowering to cl15 the boot hangs on code 49 Get to 16-15-15-30-300 1T settings w/o problems
  2. Can some somebody give me directions...What I'm doing wrong on the Maximus X Hero (a great board anyway) Moved from Asrock k6 z370 where my 4dimms kit was hitting 3800-3900 14-14-14-28-280 2T for benchmarks. On the Asus right now can run 1T and 2T with these speeds but nothing less than cl16-16-16-xx cannot boot performance is fine as RTLs are lower but...why is this difference as on x299 this kit was able to bench same voltages(sub 1.5v) up to 4100 14-14-14-28-290 1T in quad channel ... 8700k IMC is different but the CPU is better in general cannot blame it for such difference. VCCIO and VCCSA tried even more than 1.3v the same. Cannot boot and 55 or 4F error codes are staying for very long time. Edit: MRC is disabled, tried skew control ... on the latest and previous BIOS original and modified from Raja all the same
  3. Should be really cold in Czech What Vcore ? Very nice 8700k you have over there mine barely touches 2950 XTU ...
  4. There's something really off mate. +300Mhz core almost the same score with much better board and memory 1T... DStealth`s XTU score: 2835 marks with a Core i7 8700K You should getting close to 3k with this setup here PKBO`s XTU score: 2990 marks with a Core i7 8700K PKBO`s XTU score: 3004 marks with a Core i7 8700K
  5. This ? DStealth`s 3DMark Vantage - Performance score: 84635 marks with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
  6. Better ? DStealth`s Cinebench - R15 score: 1778 cb with a Core i7 8700K
  7. Not always and not for a reason, was not over here quite a long time and made screens as was comfortable to me. Today submission should be fine or not - DStealth`s 3DMark - Time Spy score: 11219 marks with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Will rise all these scores anyway and will put this mandatory Gpuz screens.
  8. No problems to rebench with higher frequency and score. Image is image is there any rule not to cover it i assume the result and CPUz are the important parts of the whole screenshot not the render I have millions of pictures of... Edit:found it will run again for a valid screenshot HWBOT Cinebench R15 Benchmark Validation Regulations :celebration:
  9. No problem, will try some memory timings and HT off these days for 85k+ total score
  10. I have this combo 8700k/Asrock K6 PC For the moment Single-Rank, 4x8GB (32GB) are not booting with 1T over 3Ghz did't tried lower. Seems coffee lake IMC or Asrock BIOS related tried 1.0/1.1/and 1.11beta all acting the same. As for 2 dimms 4Ghz was also not bootable with 1T 3900 was max i achieved despite running these 4 modules on x299 same board Gaming K6 with 7800x up to 4200 15-15-15-28-280 1T in quad channel. So for the moment get Asus board Maximus if you want good memory OC on Z370 or wait for some fix from Asrock...tested very deeply RTLs IOLs etc and all(actually a couple compared to x299) voltages...this is the situation...Not good for memory overclocking especially B-dies...
  11. A straightforward solution:D In two steps: 1. Delid 2. Push 1.55v with maximum LLC
  12. Will try with reduced cache today evening...hope it helps...but it's very strange behavior even if it consumes Vcore sub 1.4v benches 5260 all i throw...but unfortunately 10-20Mhz higher are BSODing almost instantly even 1.47/8v (tried in small increments) up to them...
  13. Ye, ye for the paste I know... What are you other setting for 5400 voltages etc. LLC I hardly hit a wall after 5250 although i can use ring and blc synced to over 5200 reduced it to x51 and even x50 no go. The other 8700k i have was overclocking the same but bus was much worse not getting over x48@101.5 Cache although was also benching in this 52xx Mhz regions. Edit: Don't think its thermal related as barely exceeding 70* During CB15 and 20 Mhz more are not going to happen even lower multi and higher BLK a hard wall...tried up to 1.47volts:mad: *read the bold part reverse
  14. Great chip dude. Is this on chilled water? Mine seems also stable in 5200 range with less than 1.4v with EK360 but for benching 5250-70 max and some non-heavy loads like superPi only possible up to 5300 no matter of the voltage...it's like hitting the wall after 5250. Not delidded still...
  15. Sure gonna run it for sure...just have to clear some SW issues with w10 and not running CPU tests because some permission problems while caching... Fixed All is almost twice since the last time i run this bench 65k CPU https://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/5651386 84239 Total...keep pushing https://www.3dmark.com/hall-of-fame-2/3dmark+vantage+3dmark+score+performance+preset/version+1.1.2/1+gpu
  16. Thanks Elmor just to confirm it works like a charm on my Plalit Jetsream
  17. No points for my submission? All pics and links seems ok to me http://hwbot.org/submission/2255206_
  18. Done, images removed.... 5205Mhz 6/12C Air with the crappiest X79 MB ...from Intel... Wish i was that good to do it during lunch, even more for 24/7
  19. 10X intel for the new BIOS - PLL working now:cool: All done on AIR D14+Stock 1170-1240rpm fans (+cold air) 1.47V BIOS set http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/8608/cinebench15015131.jpg http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/8046/3dmark06390922.jpg http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/6260/superpi1m5205.jpg
