I took my Z390 Dark Win XP and replaced acpi.sys and syssetup.dll and it gave blue screen 7B with M11A. Seems like reinstallation is required.
Edit: My bad, Z390 Dark uses Asmedia SATA while Apex only has Intel SATA. Z390 Dark OS modded with Z390 ASUS files makes XP work on X299 Dark
So it works ? 7B is AHCI issue, these will help

Just wanted to share a few simple things I found while testing XP on Apex XI over the paste couple? days. Kinda all a blur, but exciting times.
For anyone wondering you can do the Text>GUI (iso on ram) install using PCI to USB 2.0/3.0 (NEC) card so you can have extra files available right away
The original files (USB ROOT) from Asus Impact VIII days (firahelper.ima.gz/firahelper64.ima.gz/grldr/menu.lst) work fine
In RMPrepUSB I used "Fat32" and ticked the "Boot as HDD (C: 2PTNS)" box next to it
Probably most important note was having to enable CSM (Compatiblity Support Module) in bios for "Legacy Boot" so USB stick would work as bootable.
My usb sticks would not boot on APEX XI untill i switch uefi boot to 2nd optionHere is pic from 1st boot while using pci to usb card

So there's a good chance we can get modded M9A for Coffee Lake support to run with HT on XP, would be cool.
I thought most benchers knew this has been possible for a while now. Here is the "0094" bios I modded to work on M9A XP w/ HT back in 2018

I've been loosely following that forum and recently dl'd all the files I believe are needed and will give this a try sometime this week. Would be nice if @FireKillerGR happens to beat me too it tho. Anyways guys, let's do this and start some 32m shenanigans together ! Hope I won't need to switch from APEX XI to Dark board

I cant believe I was trolled by a fellow team member. You're good @Mikecdm I will give you that. Haha
If it lives through the X265 grinder then it's definitely unkillable. Lol
Trolled hard by mikey lol. I couldn't even finish 1080p at 5g on lin with the "homies ho" cpu. I've got to be the worse overclocker ever ?

Everyone knows its the same chip, can't expect it to clock much higher
Yep, it was nice of Intel to build us an unkillable golden cpu. Even if it is an Engineering Sample, so no unfair advantage in competitions

Just got the word in that XTU 2.0 beta is up for grabs, maybe include it in the challengers for thorough testing by the community???
If they have taken Mat's analysis of vulnerabilities into account I'd say yeah for sure

Just take the normal GB4 File Folder and add it to Benchmate folder with the other bench applications. It seems to notice it's there after you open it once

Lookin' good mate !

Any Electric's Contact Cleaner such as CRC, WD-40 Specialist or Caig DeoxIT D5. This is a common issue with M9A's, first time I took my board cold this started happening almost immediately. All you can do is make sure the socket is very clean, 100% dry and ram stick is seated right

Correct
Does it ? Quick n' Dirty comparison of the Top 10 submissions simply based on amount of CB points earned per MHz of freq is showing this.
Keep in mind BigBlock990's score is the only one done with BenchMate AND most the lower efficiency subs are old, basically from launch meaning probably didn't run as much as more recent runs to squeeze out that last 0.0001% of perfEfficiency Score

Guys who have any meaningful connection are moved to Elite, So that means any current/future gen Engineering/Review Sample (ES) hardware with points activated

Great score, bet we see BB990 push this to 6.8

4500 divider even works with that Z390 bios flashed to the board, I just confirmed with a kit of Team Dark.
Bios 2003 ? Isn't that from Apex X Z370 or was it ported from z390 to 30 and then 270

There's a Cascade for sale on ebay for 600 or Best Offer. Problem is the sellers history is a bit shaky, tho EBay sides with the buyer 99% of the time. Also not too sure of the build quality, If it's one of the early ones or his personal unit should be fine. I know a few teamates/friends have dealt with him and maybe can chime in

Kinda says it all, OC Formula series keep going strong on 1150 and 1151 ! May not be the fanciest new tech but they just work and make working with them a pleasure
