  1. you're welcome now hurry up and ban this shit.
  2. 2k boost in 06 was noted single 580 @ stock on 2600k @ 4.6ghz. i dont see why we dont see more benchmarks with it to get a ball park of what it can do. HDR1 got the biggest boost. watching the screen though, it seems displayed fps is much less than 60 tbh... feels like 30fps with the vsync option. has anybody else tried this on non z77 h77? im running mivez. i dont know if its just me or what but i crash the control panel 100% of the time so i dont get a ui. you can edit the xml in notepad to get the same effect... the drivers still work as they should, it just crashes when trying to open the lucid ui. as for should it be allowed or disallowed? meh, disallow it. it degrades image quality (lod blah blah blah) but seriously, watch the screen sometime. if you are wondering about the version, its the one on softpedia. 110a something or other.
  3. turn off speed step + cstates. its next to impossible to find the max multi with them on as windows will boot lower multi then try a higher one causing freezing instead of blinking cursor.
  4. It would be in a small town called Ostrov near Carlsbad on the German border
  5. SF3D, you have my interest *edit... and off topic* 54F?!?!?! My sig is a liar... its more like 70F right now. anyways.... how is cebit compared to ces? never been, and i may be living in the czech republic by this time next year so...
  6. you can rename the aquamark executable to something that automatically sets the affinity to all cores and run the benchmark wrapper. it saves some time and headache *edit* apparently... naming it to any random name other than aquamark works
  7. ohhhh burrrrnnnn! wait a min... awww crap...
  8. ... when you can come up with witty retorts such as "masterbencher" no sarcasim involved, it is in fact pretty witty.
  9. Ronaldo also has the ability to revive the cards too shame about that 7970... soooo much effort!
  10. air test would be better if it ever got below 80 degrees here in los angeles.
  11. well done friend! awesome score even with your issues.
  12. i was referring to the pic actually. user title... i could care less about. if it were like a happy cat or something... that would be rad.
  13. go ahead and run 3dmark06 at a whopping 44fps seems good for heaven, 3d11 and pcm07 so far. *edit* my "maintenance bot" looks depressed...
  14. the end result was that the score was invalidated and that it is detectable which is good. thanks for the clarification.
  15. its not my place to make these decisions and leave it up to hwbot staff. i have no emotional attachment what so ever and can delete the submission without issue. but ponder on this a bit. it (if invalid) should lead to better validation for future benchmark front end hwbot creates, but could potentially invalidate all other scores... i can dig into this cryptic bit via pm with hwbot staff. or if valid, should re-shuffle the leaderboards temporarily until everybody gets in line with the tweaks applied and everybody keeps points and the bot doesn't lose 2 turns due to anarchy. either way i lose as the score has no chance in standing from either outcomes. what i would like to see in either case is some sort of official ruling either way so we can shut this book once and for all.
  16. if this score IS invalid, then an update needs to be made to the benchmark front end. I would like to leave its as a point of discussion before deleting
  17. bugged would indicate that its not reproducable. ive reproduced the score on another os using different drivers. the score is accurate to the in bench frame rate. all i did was control tessellation level....
  18. please don't say world record. this is an example of tweaks that are possible for heaven. i in no way claim this to be world record as its all tweaks no bench. 100% stock clocks on cpu and gpu.
  19. do all the 1gb go sticks come with the bugged spd? i know mine did...
  20. suggestion: 2 submissions per person per stage should be allowed next year. it gives the potential for every stage fill out with more submissions.
