  1. With LOD & E8600/RE combo this card has some SERIOUS '01 potential!
  2. fredyama-san, Booooon-san, CAL930-san & Gyrock-san -> sincere congratulations!
  3. Can you please send me the video BIOS to my email @ tiborrrNO@SPAMoc-lab.si? My Sapphire card has a horrible CB (around +6°C). Best Regards, N.
  4. Sampsa @ some-bar-in-Vienna after a shot of unknown vodka: "Ewww, Swedish vodka! The finnish guys are now finished!"
  5. Sad to hear that. I've met him only once but it was a great experience. Humble guy, I hope that someday he returns back in the overclocking world.
  6. Thank you both! It was a blast seeing this card fly like an unleashed beast. Time for me & alibabar to do SLI again! 120k should be in the ballpark area!
  7. Tnx Karl! Reference PCB, Turrican can confirm that. Too bad the memory chips are Quimonda brand, anything over 971MHz is doomed to fail.
  8. Thanks Karl. Just figured out how to set LOD, I got about 40FPS boost in N, but that's about it. Raw cooling power coming soon!
  9. Another thing I though about: This new revision will kill rivalry between teammates. It's not all about benching together, much of the great results is done when you compete against someone you know very well. How many nights did I stay awake, run the cascade all night long just to push those ~ 500 pts that separated me from Moonman. There is also one thing about benching together. We are not all 15-year old high school kids who have all the time in the world to spend on overclocking. It's very hard to organize a group session bench with my mates as we all have jobs, some of us have families. You will probably see a decline in number of good & optimized submissions. Organizing a bench for a day or two will not yield perfect results - anyone knows that. Perfect results are a result of a long time preparations and finding the perfect settings.
  10. This will only promote team captains to ban less contributing (point-wise) benchers from the team. Gomeler pointed out an issue I didn't think before. Due to the fact that Moonman, alibabar & myself have a lot of the similiar hardware (hell, alibabar & myself just bought two GeForces GTX460 so we can have an internal competition) It would be better for our team to split into three teams, e.g. OC-Lab #1, OC-Lab #2 & OC-Lab #3, each of the team having one HW grinder (us) & one high-profile HW bencher. Make no mistake, this will hapen eventually when people will see that they can't contribute to their team jumping a position higher just because their teammate has already secured the first place. I would have never gotten to 3000 HWM points if I knew my benching wouldn't benefit the team. What currently keeps me motivated is the sole fact that i4memory team is less than 450pts ahead of us.
  11. Impressive GPU speed but wrong sets of DIMMs for the platform. D9GTR/GTS all the way, buddy! Keep it up!
  12. I believe new revision will benefit everyone. The 'only best score counts for team total' rule is harsh but perhaps neccassery. Our team's ranking will for sure suffer at first, but after few months we will get back into the new routine. It's just a matter of facing the changes and accepting them. The same as it was with rev3.0.
  13. Run it in 16-bit color, 16-bit textures, 1024x768px.
