As far as I remember, the 5 star hotels in Taipei are fairly pricey... $280/night or higher. I use AirBnb this time around... I would recommend anywhere near MRT.... It is very easy to get around.... Blue line is most ideal, but honestly, if brown, red or green line, no problem... Not a big deal.. If only consider ease of getting back and forth... Google maps: Nangang exhibition and then Taipei 101....... And finally: TWTC I honestly dont remember good/bad areas too much, this might make Massman giggle..... But, I think near Taipei City Hall MRT station would make sense... EDIT: Speaking of the devil, turns out W Hotel & Le Meridien is in that area, but it wont be cheap.

1. Taipei is a small city as of area, you cannot eally go much wrong - but near 101 or Nangang if you want short time on transport. 2. Cannot answer that one... 3. Yes, at Nangang and Gigabyte probably have in Taipei 101.. 4. In my opinion Taipei is fairly clean, they have 1 slightly dirty district, but that'll still qualify for the cleanest part of town in London.... 5. No, do not drink tap water - Taiwan copy everything from USA, even the dumb sh*t. 6. Cannot answer where they went, but there are places for hiking in Taipei, however if having the time I'd suggest visiting sun moonlake or Tarako. 7. Taxi is cheap, but you might have a hard time without speaking Chinese... Metro is very easy, and buy a SMARTCARD from Massman - yes, he has been slow advertising this, however I am sure he will make hwbot smartcard for you 8. City center, the parties are hosted by the vendors - and idea is to update the thread with info - Usually overclockers are at 2-3 different parties each night, with exception og GALAX Night, that night - we go have Korean BBQ. *Officially there isnt any party yet, buuuut, I'd be very suprised if they wont host

Personally I just skipped getting a new set of headphones, B&O H6, because I use my speakers way too much. Fronts: B&W 804 Center: B&W HTM Rear: B&W DS6 Sub: B&W AS6 Receiver/Power: Marantz SR8500 Source: Mediecenter & smart TV (LG 65" IPS 4K) Still considering if 2 monoblocks will be worth.
