Official Discussion Thread for G.SKILL OC World Cup 2016
websmile replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Like everyone we sometimes fail^^ - but we are not liable for bugs that show at benchmarks we do neither develop nor do the sysinfo or monitoring or whatever for. What might be a problem is that we handle things too generously sometimes, especially me, but this has nothing to do with rules. When we talk for example now about spd or not, would you submit a reference clock mainboard validation without the name of vendor and model at the validation link for an msi or asus comp?^^ Maybe being more strict on things like this and enforcing common sense is needed, and after last days I will consider this for the future P.S. FM released a new sysinfo few days ago, if you have problems at validation, please try this. It should help -

Understandable, I can well imagine that it will be allowed for live competitions, but for an online qualifier validation beyond any doubt makes life easier for contestants and judges - with this premise I have to approve the decison, and it is same way for all contestants so noone has an advantage or disadvantage -

I saw your result and also talked to Daniel about this because he also has an XOC validated result- I discuss this and asked already, personally I think with the 1% screenshot rule it should be ok, especially because gskill B-die dominate anyway as well as e-die, very unlikely someone would grab other sticks, validate, and then gskills for screenshot OK, we decided to play if save and when I think about it, it is clearest option because it is the only one that leaves no room for doubt - spd has to be shown at validation as well - XOC mode without spd not! accepted -
No, won´t be much anyway, I only sell my Asus boards 1150 some and all 1151 and move to other vendor On topic, I made finally a real test on kit 6, 1,85v 3866 tight 32m, screen added

ROG REALBENCH - FIRST BETA CHALLENGE DISCUSSION
websmile replied to SL06BHytMar's topic in HWBOT Competitions
If you are unable to read the rules that are written big at the rules tab which you see when you enter the competiton page it is not my problem, but yours - I could have removed a lot more scores, even though I only checked top 25 bc it is a beta cometition without prices, but if you are unable to follow the general competiton rules, this is your problem and not mine - btw, I edited personally to your team mates submission so that he could at least stay in the comp, maybe I should have removed it as well to have clear cut -
I sense an Impact going to greece in nearer future^^ - but who blanked the chatbox?

ROG REALBENCH - FIRST BETA CHALLENGE DISCUSSION
websmile replied to SL06BHytMar's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I see your monster result at an honorable 31st place before moderation - maybe I delte some results and you can enter top 30^^ I made a eaw and generous check, overall ranking needs to be recalculated though. I handled this is the way it was intended, beta, please note that for further benchmarks rules wil be updated on screenshot and cpuz will be mandatory. The only results removed did not apply with the rule that a picture of the used rig needs to be shown - this is a normal competition rule and I think anyone should know this by now, we write this for each comp explicitly -

Intermediate check done today, please provide always pictures of rig and memory, subtests at 3ds and check the validation rules again, it was really surprising how many results I had to block or remove... -

Hi, welcome to the first part of my 1151 sellout, three out of four listed cpus can go immediately but I will make a thread with boards as well and need cpus until I have time to finalize this. All cpus have been tested on average air cooling and below par cpu clocking board Hero VIII, I do not have an ocf or gene/extreme and water cooling chiller like the usual offers here, so I tested boot and Hwbotprime at 5ghz for the i7s and Cinebench/XTU for the i5 at 4,8ghz. CPU 1. Intel Core i7 6700K Batch L547C185, delidded with LM, very strong chip that did 1,35v 5gzhz win7x64 for me and 1,37v hwbotprime including result saving^^. If you plan to use it on cold, you have to redelid it for LN2 use and change paste 2. Intel Core i7 6700K Batch L604F281, non-delidded, good chip that does win7x64 1,40v and 1,42v hwbotprime including result save and screen. 3. Intel Core i5 6600K Batch L536B345, non delidded, tested for Cinebench 15 4,8ghz 1,29v and XTU 1,33v, this was already above limit for my cooling nearly, the chip runs very hot. 5ghz win7x64 on Impact with boxed cooler 1,40v 4. Intel Pentium G4400 L526C255, non delidded, 4,75ghz wprime 1024 around 1,4v, not more tested. 5. 2x8GB G.Skill TridentZ DDR4-3600 C17-18-18-38 1,35v SN 1610A500xx79/80, way above average kit that easily did 2000 12-12-12-28 1t 220 tight for me around 1,95v, might work even a bit lower. In original packaging 6. 2x8GB G.Skill TridentZ DDR4-3600 C17-18-18-38 1,35v SN 1610A500xx61/62, very similar to kit above but needs bit more volts, so I only tested Spi32m 3866 12-12-12-28 1T 220 tight 1,85v and 4K only XTU and geekbench at 1,95v. In original packaging Prices in Euros, shipping not included 1. 500 Euros sold 2. 370 Euros sold, 3. 260 Euros sold 4. 65 Euros 5. 180 Euros sold 6. 160 Euros All items are located at Berlin, germany. Shipping in EU with DHL will be around 20 Euros for the K-cpus, with deutsche Post mems and 4400 can be shipped cheaper, depending on insurance, please ask for a quote if you are unsure what to chose. Payment is possible with paypal or wu, buyer covers fees, this is not negotiable. Disclaimer: No returns accepcted, I also rule out warranty provided by me because this is a private sale. On oc, ymmv, but I used neither good cooling nor infamous top oc boards for the cpus, and the mems were tested up to 3866 on Hero and only above on Impact.

Official Discussion Thread for G.SKILL OC World Cup 2016
websmile replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Good morning - I forgot to mention this, might be helpful - we cannot rule out despite all options like sysinfo and plausibility check by mods that we will have to check some subs at end of competition which we might see as too good to be true. This will be done by FM if we send them there, we all know that no benchmark is free of bugs. So if you see something weird at benching and still upload the result, make sure you have submitted several results to be save, bc when the file shows irregularities, there will be no way this stays at the competition and I do not want to hear complains you weren´t warned before. When it comes to a qualifier for a competition that involves this much of reward, we don´t play it eazy going^^ -
Well, that´s history now, if something in the thread like the gtx1 are interesting, even at 2x2gb, I think I could give you a good price with bad conscience of emi - seriously, might have been my fault, he has tons of workload atm and I might have made thread too early^^

No info on this, when I was sure these all are good and fully working mems after the tests I made the thread and gave it a go
