  1. I thought it would be an odds game, but so far I'm 0/12 and my local retailers keep getting huge shipments of bad batches
  2. I got a L315B357 today and it's a no go. 4.5 = 1.2v, 4.6 = 1.25v, 4.7 = 1.3v so at least it's consistent scaling there I've been having terrible luck with Fry's/Microcenter/Intel RMA chips, so I ordered some from Newegg. Hopefully something nice will arrive tomorrow.
  3. Nice! The beginning of the end for Clarkdale in 2 core benching?
  4. Intel 4770k Retail - $290 shipped Fresh from Intel RMA. Popped in to test, booted into Windows at 4.7GHz 1.30v. 4.5GHz needed 1.23v. YMMV. Comes with retail box with the big white Intel RMA sticker on the front. Unused HSF, and Core i7 sticker still intact. Costa Rica 3312B707 MSI Z87I - $130 shipped This was an impulse purchase from Fry's a few weeks ago. I used it for 5 minutes to test the above CPU. Booted the 4770k at 4.5GHz and put her back in the box. Mint condition with all original packaging and accessories. International shipping is available at buyer's expense.
  5. 3312B707 Costa Rica Intel sent me for RMA is my second worst 4770k so far. The one I killed to get this one (L312B4xx) was promising
  6. It's just not as easy if there's no network connection. Install your benching OS, and forget you need network for .net 3.5, and it's a pain in the ass. Also, trying to install .net 3.5 on Win 8 from the deploy package is a no go from what I can tell. You get the same message as when you try to run something that requires .net 3.5 Probably including .net 3.5 in your unattended Win 8 install would be the way to go if you're benching XTU a lot.
  7. Massman what did you delete? My curiosity is getting to me. Was it an XTU bug or what? I decompiled, and I know all of your secrets now
  8. Price drop to $150!
  9. Ya know, you don't have to submit every single XTU run... You have like 30, some even with the exact same score.
  10. Yep, same photo for all of the submissions I've made with this laptop. My first XTU run was 595.
  11. This unit. Used once with dry ice, and it performed very well. I bought it from Frozen CPU because I couldn't find my F1 after moving. Comes with retail packaging and mounting for 115x. $160 shipped to US and Canada. Global shipping is available at buyer's expense.
