  1. @Strunkenbold Sorry about not combining the CPU and the board in one picture, I thought the CPU picture was purely intended so that other participants could see the batch... I'm still not sure why my 345MHz submission was removed from % OC but not from max freq though... Max freq submission: http://hwbot.org/submission/3804788 % OC submission: http://hwbot.org/submission/3804783_ I had it submitted in both stages as you can clearly see from the 11 comments on the %OC one Might have something to do with the database beeing messed up, I submitted the max freq later... If none of the mods removed it please add it to the competition again
  2. Why did my MMX 166 345MHz sbmission get removed from the comp? I ran DMI=0 provided pictures of board and CPU and even a video proving that this CPU is capable of 3x multiplier... http://hwbot.org/submission/3804783_ Not that it matters for the ranking I just wan't to know why it was removed
  3. Nice one, how do you get CPU-Z to detect multi and FSB correctly?
  4. You can see the difference in multiplier... as you can see FSB is 66MHz for both, I even show the jumper settings, with the old MMX it shows 200MHz (66x3) and with the new one 166 (multi is set to 3 but stays at 2,5)...
  5. @gumanoid Here you go: https://youtu.be/evxXzNIdlMU (will be fully uploaded in about 1:30h) you can clearly see the week 35 chip does 200MHz whith the same settings as the 44 does 166. Just so that you know: if you upload a better result with a 166 i'll also ask for video proof... There are a couple of old threads where you can find clues that not all MMX 166 are locked just google "pentium mmx 166 multiplier" and do some digging there have been several people who managed to get these chips to 3x... Please do some reserach before accusing people of cheating
  6. @GRIFF try some chips made before week 40 of 1997, around that time it seems that the multi has been locked :)
  7. Worked fine for me, also for HAVLI: http://hwbot.org/submission/3804103 Heven't tried 3.5x since i don't need it :)
  8. This will be my new Thread for all sorts of CPUs, since I started binning other stuff than 775 since it has become availible at scrap prices: #1 i5 750 Batch L938B434 tested for Hwbotprime @1,55V on M3F does 4900MHz cooled with Little devil SS (35€) #2 i5 750 Batch L938B434 tested for Hwbotprime @1,55V on M3F does 4900MHz cooled with Little devil SS (35€) #3 i7 2600K Batch L116B314 tested for CB R11.5 @1,625V on Z77 Fatality Pro does 5500MHz cooled with little devil SS (110€) _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All 775 CPUs are tested on P5E-Premium and cost 5€ unless stated otherwise! #1 Celeron E3400 Batch 3148D014 tested for max FSB on air : 380 and max freq on air (x12, 1,5V bios 1,45V real): 370 #2 Celeron E3400 Batch 3143B679 tested for max FSB on air : 380 and max freq on air (x12, 1,5V bios 1,45V real): 365 #3 Celeron E3400 Batch 3143B679 tested for max FSB on air : 380 and max freq on air (x12, 1,5V bios 1,45V real): 370 #4 Core2Duo E7400 Batch 3907A286 tested for max FSB: 545 and max. Shipping to EU: uninsured is 5€ insured 10€ for international shipping please ask
  9. What would I get from not risking it? Also it's not that hard to find a 5-AX i got two of them, unfortunately one was DOA (i get them from the scrap so you shouldn't be too surprised if it doesn't work) Plus I don't have 5-AAs since I never actively looked for them i might have just thrown them away again...
  10. I have the 4.1 I'll share pictures and results of binning when I'm done
  11. Thanks for the tip, for 3,7 i'll have to mod my board first, since the GA-5AX only goes up to 3,5V @avalance from left to right 166 / 200 / 233 MHz one stack for each type
  12. I fixed at least 1000 pins over the past 2 days, this weekend i'll try figuring out the platform and how to bin pentium MMX
  13. TAGG

    DDR3/ DDR2

None of the Kits are still availible... I forgot the thread, please close
  14. I got a bunch in the last few months but had No Time to bin most of them, too busy working and doing other stuff (diy Powerwall, Mining monero etc...) I have some 1156 and 1155 Chips as Well this time, hopefully i'll get done with all of them this month
  15. @GRIFF replacing the 256 would be a great idea from the Budget standpoint... It is actually the only thing i haven't bought allready because of the insane prices people are charging in eBay...

    Evga Sr-2

Have recieved mine thursday, it comes with CPU coolers, but without IO-shield unfortunately...
  17. 63 i3 2130 done as well, one dead, best two chips do 108.2 and 107.9Mhz (1,35V air)
  18. I'm now finnished binning 81 i3 2100, the best three do 108.3,108.3 and 108.1Mhz BCLK on my Z77 Professional (on Air, 1,3V)
  19. I'm runing the RAM on 1333 strap, ie ~1420MHz with CL9... So this limit seems to be the core, also Ivy bridge is very different IMC wise, since it is unlocked to way higher Memory frequencies
  20. So far I can confirm, that the CPU itsef play a vital role in how far you can go with BCLK, i have tested 30 or so 2100s on my Z77 Professional and so far only 4 managed 107Mhz BCLK for POST, most top out at 106,5, some even at 106... Binning the remaining 107MHz CPUs will be done on SS i guess, to see if they scale with temperature differently EDIT: @yosarianilives IMCs on sandy are limmited to 2133, and so far all that I had managed that... Also my board can only go up to 1,7V Vmem, so 2133 CL7 is pretty much the best I can do
