  1. I've just uploaded XTU results and it says that i'm using engineering sample or unreleased hardware? Why ? And after submission it says that "Aurosonic has chosen to disable all rankings for his/her submissions." but i didn't do that.
  2. 1. Open Acronis 2. Add tibx by + button 3. Select tibx after adding it a press Restore 4. Chose destination disk to restore (all info on that disc will be erased) 5. press restore 6. reboot, press F8 during bios post and chose that disc where your restored 7. done
  3. My guide + iso + tibx for XP x86 on Z490. Hopefully it helps and save your time:
  4. Hello, after a few days of testing/trying here's the final ISO + TIBx for Z490 ISO: https://mega.nz/file/MJZB2CoA#uPgJY8HNq4Y2mCIuNLrk3ApwOsvo437pqvVpOLAn3hE TIBx for Acronis 2020: https://mega.nz/file/gRJ23T4T#iFOmOUa6AansaVL-TwFcFurP484KAw53DB0c6NWhln0 This ISO based on WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL SP3 X86 - INTEGRAL EDITION 2020.9.9: http://www.zone94.com/downloads/software/operating-systems/123-windows-xp-professional-sp3-x86-integral-edition includes lots of patches for modern hardware which improves perfomance of modern CPU's and lots of other. Additionaly integrated: - acpi.sys compatible with Z490 - Microsoft USB 3.0 xHCI driver (Backported Win8 driver) - universal USB driver. All ports works without any issues - Samsung NVMe driver (Backported Win7 driver). Driver works during XP install. So you can install XP directly to Samsung Nvme SSD. - PAE 128GB RAM Patch (May have stability issues) - allows XP x86 to use up to 128gb of ram instead of traditional 4gb. May have stability issues with Nvidia drivers versions 332 and higher. Didn't test it though. - Kernel-Mode Driver Framework 1.11 (Backported Win7 driver). Needs for Microsoft Universal USB drivers to work properly - UAS/UASP driver (Improves USB storage device performance) - Intel xHCI driver by Stavros taken from win-raid.com 1. I wasn't able to install this ISO from USB flashdrive no matter what. I've tried lots of different software and methods (WinSetupFromUSB , Easy2Boot, Firadisk + Firahelper, Yumi ) , no luck. Always got errors after F6 and F2 messages during installation like ntkrnlmp.exe, some errors in txtsetup.sif, corrupted files etc. Allthough the same ISO installs perfectly from CD/DVD drive without any issues. This might be somehow related to bios (i'm using 0088) or amount of ram (2x16gb in my case). So i suggest to use CD/DVD drive to istall ISO or direct install to drive from TIBx mount with Acronis for those who has no CD/DVD drive. 2. In case of installing from CD/DVD Drive, plug both HDD/SSD drive and CD/DVD Drive to Asmedia ASM1061 ports on motherboard. In case of APEX XII it's SATA_E1 and SATA_E2 ports, otherwise you'll get 7B BSOD during installation. It's related to INTEL AHCI drivers somehow not detected by Windows XP during installation (although they are integrated into ISO), but working fine after complete system install. You may switc SSD/HDD drive to Intel Sata ports after system install, it'll work fine. 3. As there're NVME Drivers for Samsung integrated into ISO, you may choose to install XP directly to nvme drive even if it's GPT. No problem here. 4. First boot into XP (after 3 reboots during install process) your device manager should look like this: You may install those missing 3 PCI Device and SM Bus with Snappy Driver Installer (SDI), it's Intel LPSS, SPI and SMBus drivers. 5. Final system device manage in my case: Good luck, hopefully this post will help and save your time.
  5. I've managed to make Windows 7 driver for Intel I225-V Ethernet in case anyone needed: https://mega.nz/file/pNozhQhB#IMDmMs41mcm20-xJMeylpGLXGHkHMidYBnBkyQ6uW2Y
  6. I've successfully instaled XP x86 to my Z490 motherboard, but can't install XP x64, getting 0x000000CA BSOD during second phase of the installation. I've used acpi 5048 - 2019.10.19 (Intel&AMD Final) - daniel_k as it's the latest that have x64 acpi. Was able to bypass A5 error with it. And i've used x64 AHCI driver for Asmedia ASM106x controller integrated into ISO with Nlite to bypass 7B error. I've unpluged all external devices, turn off all onboard equipment in bios. No luck, 0X000000CA PnP bsod. Any solution to this problem ?
  7. Hi. Did you find the workaroud for this error ? Im trying to instal XP x64 and getting this bsod at second phase of installation when windows says “Installing Devices”
  8. NVM, successfully installed from dvd-rw, that Firahelper stuff doesn't work to me at all whatever i do.
  9. NVM, successfully installed from dvd-rw, that Firahelper stuff doesn't work to me at all whatever i do.
  10. I’m having troubles installing XP32 to M12A with the method described by Elmor above. Made ISO, copied to flash with firahelper 490. Booting from usb stick im getting into menu, chosing instal win xp txt mode, it starts and after F6 and F2 messages during installation i’m getting error i386/ntkrnlmp.exe . Could anyone help me with this issue?
  11. Hey guys. Can anyone help me installing win xp 32 to apex xii? I got stuck with ntkrnlmp.exe error on booting the iso from flash drive using firnhelper for z490 and xp iso with implemented ahci and usb drivers into it.
  12. Hi. I'm trying to get some decent scores in old PCMark04 and PCMark07, but i've encountered some FPS limitation issues with Graphics Memory - 64 lines tests. I guess it's 2D test. No such issues with 3D tests. Screenshot below shows the priblem. Does anyone knows how to bypass this 2D framerate limitation locked with display refresh rate? Maybe it's somehow related to Windows 10 DWM registry settings ? PS: Vertical sync forced off as well as G-Sync. And second question: WMV Video compression test almost twice more FPS on Windows 10 comparing to Windows 7. Anyone knows how to fix this ?
  13. No, no problem at all. I had slow restart before turning off "Armoury Crate" in bios. After switching it Off PC restarts or turns off for 2-3 seconds. I don't use sleep mode
  14. Okay, i’ve solved this problem. The issue was MCH Full chech [auto]. Whenever it’s disabled - my system completely unstable and full of errors/bsods with kmode exception error. So in auto mode from boot to boot it’s been rather enabled or disabled. When i set it to enable all problems gone and my system now completely stable. Here are my daily 24/7 settings at i9-9900k@5200 avx offset 0 @1.42v LLC5 || Apex XI || G.Skill F4-4600C18D-16GTZR @4600Mhz 17-19-19-38 || Aorus RTX 2080Ti Extreme @2100/8100 bios 380W
  15. Hey guys. searching for help. I have some issues with system stability which fluctuates from boot to boot. I can pass all possible stress tests one day, and completely fails all the tests on the next day with absolutely same settings. I'm on Apex XI bios 0231. What could be the issue ? Is it some hidden RTL or other subtimings which trains differ from boot to boot ?
  16. Im on Apex XI bios 0805 9900k@5200 1.325v manual LLC6, memory 4500CL17 tuned 35ns latency. long restart - turn off armory crate in bios. Youll get like 2 seconds restart cores drop - could be asus me - turn it off in bios, this will remove all the limits
  17. Will take a try. Just to mention - i wasn't able to boot even at 3866 with same error. I guess some magic timing tweaks needed.
  18. Yes, it trains fine. I can enter bios but can't pass windows boot with Service Exception Not Handled BSOD.
  19. @websmile I'm currently running the same kit on Apex 11 with following timings. Do you think it's fine for daily use ? Other question: How does DMI Voltage related to memory/cpu overclocking? I don't see any difference in stability wether it's 1.00v, 1.15v or 1.30v. What's your recomended for 4600CL17 ?
  20. Isn't it fixed on Apex/Gene XI? Saw @websmile mentioned it in this thread. Also there were some magic tertiary timings to fix the issue ?
  21. Could you please share your settings (secondary/tertiary timings and SA IO VDIMM DMI voltages) for daily use ? I can run 4600CL17 2T on my Apex XI absolutely fine, but can't make it boot to Windows at 4000CL15 1T. Posts fine, but im getting bsod when trying to boot. Tried 231, 802 and 805 bios with no luck.
