July 22, 201411 yr ^^ Someone from US told me about when she went to Italy and at a gas station she saw a guy pull a lighter and start smoking. Any minute she was expecting the 5-0 but to her surprise they didn't show. She didn't get why I was laughing.

I could imagine, that the 5-0 term refer to some police or at least firefighters rapid response to threat, but that is just a quess. (google seems to confirm this, sadly the 5-0 is an police scanner app name, so getting to the bottom of what this actually means seems harder - most likely: 5-0 -> the police, cops, FBI what ever. the person who comes to bust you "oh shit its the 5-0" ) out for dinner Edited July 22, 201411 yr by trodas
