Removing team members

Featured Replies

Hi,is it possible for team moderators to be able to delete/remove non participating/inactive team members please ? We have dozens of members with no input whatsoever for some time, destroying our points per member average. We also have a couple of members with multiple accounts, probably set up in error, which needs correcting.Lastly,is it in any way possible to find out who the 60 odd unregistered members are on our team ?

Thanks

i two would like to know if its posible to remove old members

thanks baz

Yeah would be a nice feature to have.. 1/3rd of my members have never submitted even 1 entry yet LOL

hmm,in my Team is much worst,we have 300 users with 0 points or without any results-WHAT CAN I SAY????

This is huge problem!!!!

Is any chance to remove some accounts with Hwbot Moderators help?????

Bump:

Any news yet as to when we will be able to remove/request members be removed from our team in the HWbot records that are not active at all and have never submited any results, please

could we not just give you guys a list of these members that need removing and then you could remove them from our benching team?

I think this would be the easy way to go, even though it will put a bit of extra work on you guys.

Some time ago I thinked about this [i'm member of UToP, that team with 300 members without points] and here is my temporary solution: user without points can NOT be part of a team. No matter how he wants to etc.

Because we are all refering to those users - "point-less" ;) users.

It can be executed instantly, scanning database just once and un-teaming those without points. And something a little more difficult - to prevent re-teaming unless they have at least 0.1 hwboint.

Not an ideal solution but I think it is not a bad idea [at least for now] - feel free to comment :).

not to be arrogant in any way, but i think you should have to have points to be on a team, you should be contributing to your team and not weighing them and HWBOT down. it has to be a huge undertaking just to keep the BOT running. not to discourage anyone to not oc, but use the info you get on this (the best ocing site in the world) to get to where you get the 0.1 hwboint and help your team out, a team is about teamwork.

I do feel that for some teams, people join just to say "look, im part of a great team thats done this this and this"

I also appreciate that some people have the best intentions, but dont have the money/access/time to really make a difference.

Its a bit harsh, but "no points, no point" would work well to keep teams streamlined :)

Having someone on your team with 0 points doesn't hurt the team does it? I haven't seen a statistic that shows "avg points/member" or did I miss it?

It would be great if you could ADD a team when for some reason my account 'has gone back in time'

Its to buggy

I wan`t to ask you, how can i change my nickname, i made a mistake when i chose this one, if i try it in the editor, it wont allow it, it says wrong username, but the username is correct, can you moderators please change my nickname to subOholic's of OC-lab2 . Thank you werymuch. Best regards.

Would be a nice add too if you could remove your self from your current team.

Thats possible- in your options cou can choose what team to bench for, including "no team" :)

Still work-in-progress. We all have daily jobs and very little free time to work on new features.

this request is ask for a long time now ( 02-03-2008,)

and from d.i.v off people

and the answers are Still work-in-progress ?

i no that you people have all daily jobs and very little free time

but maybe it is time to four fill this request ?

just me 2 cents

Yes, still a work in progress. Sorry, but hwbot is run by people who can only afford to spend their free time on this. It's sometimes hard to find time to work on even the smallest request :(.
