January 14, 201114 yr Exactly, you can run 2200 no problem, but now it depends on latency... Edit: Guys, how much VTT are you using? Edited January 17, 201114 yr by Quake
January 22, 201114 yr 200 x 22.5? What kind of dividers do you have on your board? Think pros referring to the floating bclk ASUS has which is why I supplied other forms of measuring speed with my submission That or that it doesn't take mush effort to hit the speeds on AMD. Comp for AMD I think would have been far more interesting with locked multi chips or a fixed multi that you set in the limitations. Edited January 22, 201114 yr by chew*
January 22, 201114 yr Crew well at 200 * 22.5 it is all too easy, standard bus speed, just set the ram ratio to 2000 mhz, set the nb and run your bench
January 24, 201114 yr Crew lol sure yes it seems i just made up a new memory divider, asus/gigabyte can we please make this happen? i dont want to hear about platform limitations either... 250 bus is what i was meaning to say Edited January 24, 201114 yr by pro
February 8, 201114 yr was subzero on RAM the only way to get 93x 6-6-6 ? Sam no need to go subzero on ram, here's your M4a79 board in action. http://chew.ln2cooling.com/qdig-files/converted-images/Ram%20clocks/lrg_corsair%20970%2032m%201.JPG http://chew.ln2cooling.com/qdig-files/converted-images/Ram%20clocks/lrg_corsair%20950%20ram%2032m.JPG
February 8, 201114 yr Author was subzero on RAM the only way to get 93x 6-6-6 ? No as chew pointed out hypers will do this on air, but I doubt all will do it with less than 1.8+ vdimm -4 on the mem gives me somewhere around 20 MHz on same volt. I could run 937 6-6-6 @ 1.775 (bios set). Pretty low considering these sticks are nothing special, Dominator 1600 cl6. I'll check volt with dmm some day.
February 8, 201114 yr mine just stops at 940 stable, at 952 it passes memtest but fails on reboot and at 960 i get no post at all same story with multiple kits I tried
February 8, 201114 yr mine just stops at 940 stable, at 952 it passes memtest but fails on reboot and at 960 i get no post at allsame story with multiple kits I tried Sam, Use Turbo V. AMD's IMC freaks at 940+ with deneb especially for booting. You kinda have to finesse it from that point on. I also suggest using older chips, one's before amd started doing low K dielectic on deneb tend to fair better with higher vdimm. Edited February 8, 201114 yr by chew*
February 8, 201114 yr Author I can not recommend turboV, it has a nasty habit of setting crazy voltage after a reboot (2.5 vdimm and such )
February 9, 201114 yr I can not recommend turboV, it has a nasty habit of setting crazy voltage after a reboot (2.5 vdimm and such ) weird, must be a CH3 thing then, m4a79T has a diif version, works fine.
February 23, 201114 yr Author Just got off the phone with my ln2 supplier, it's gonna be a fun weekend!
