Crew stummerwinter Posted February 26, 2011 Crew Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) Testing hardware for cebit... With the CUs here I felt like in the MTV-show NEXT... Also got my new GPU-container yesterday: Temps where -180°C ~ -185°C: vGPU = 1,58 V vDIMM = 1,85 V vPLL = 1,27 V (maybe less possible) Thanx to Christian, Marcus and Jon for their support! Christian Ney Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 WTF Is that a LOD tweaking ? Is it allowed ? How to do it if it's allowed ? thx Quote
SoF Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 sure it is allowed ^^ lod has been the most known 3D tweak I thought Quote
Christian Ney Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) I am new in da overclocking world. I know the name, I know it's on rivatuner but range is from -3 to +3, but I remmeber I reached to range it from -15 to +15 on the ''power user tab''. that was when I was on 3D bench. But I don't remember it was looking as hard as on your video . Maybe there is an other software. Anyway nice WR Edited March 6, 2011 by Christian Ney Quote
Crew Turrican Posted March 6, 2011 Crew Posted March 6, 2011 nvidia inspector will do the job as well. Quote
Christian Ney Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Ho yeah inspector I love this soft, I used it when I tried to grab some points with the GTX 580 and my poor i7 920. Nice tool, only available for windows 7 unfortunately. But I haven't checked the driver tweaking part. Thx for the hint Quote
SoF Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 usually it should work on XP also but I had some problems with it during cebit - on some of my windows it wouldn't start with an error message for rivatuner you have to edit the config for fermi - didn't found the right values for 580 yet. Quote
Crew Turrican Posted March 6, 2011 Crew Posted March 6, 2011 yeah, sam is right. i had no problem using it under windows xp. Quote
Kal-EL Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Nice to see the passion in overclocking guys and stummer making diamonds Quote
