July 31, 20223 yr As title says, got one of these CPUs for TC testing, turns out it has DDR3 imc and allso fits in AM3 socket (doesn't have the extra pin AM2+ has), quick test on Crosshair IV went well, allso #1 SPI 32M on hwbot is on DDR3 board: https://hwbot.org/submission/4348909_tantekaethe_superpi___32m_athlon_x2_5200_16min_58sec_187ms/ This is however only the 5200+, the 5000+ is "true" AM2+ CPU.

August 2, 20223 yr That is actually true of almost all Phenom II and Athlon II CPU's. Only a few exceptions exclusively support DDR2.
