wutske Posted December 1 Posted December 1 The way it is now seems pretty clear to me Quote Stage by GPU Family - 4 scores required At first I was also confused about the memory scoring, but this clears things up a lot Quote Stage by memory type - 3 scores required My guess is that the main issue is that people look at the rules and think they're fine, until they actually start to work with them and realize that they have some hardware that may or may not fit the bill. Unless we require people to select their hardware before the competition opens, I don't think this can be prevented. Tasos, as a team lead it's understandable that you're frustrated that your members are complaining to you. However, keep in mind that as a team lead, you're now complaining to others which will leave them frustrated. Please listen to your members, aggregate concerns and just ask the moderators to clarify anything that's unclear and don't dig up the past. Please remember that people are volunteering to keep this site alive. People spend their free time moderating everything and setting up compo's. There's no monetary gain for winning a contest, so please don't expect the rules to be as perfect as a $15K compo and just try to have fun. Quote

As detailed as possible or as much as the admin options allow you. The header of each stage must also contain all the basic elements wanted. The descriptions : "stage by gpu" , "stage by gpu family" , "stage by cpu socket" , "stage by cpu core count" , "stage by cpu core" .... mean nothing to new users (and not only) There has to be a remark with explanations , in stage details or in limitations (wherever is possible). TASOS Posted December 6 Posted December 6 What do we do , when a result (for unknown reason) did not uploaded in the stage of country cup ? In previous competitions (older GUI) we had a "participate" button. Quote
