I tested last weekend a Untouchables Rev0.1 10+3Phase mounted on a Evga GTX285 for the GPU.

first i tested it on Dice, to see how it reacts etc...

And must say :

Evga, DAMN SWEET JOB that you made this thing.

Next runs will be on LN² and hopefully take good places with the gtx285 on hwbot.

first some pics of the vga then some pics and links of the first test runs.

3Dmark06 13th place http://hwbot.org/submission/2214123_

3Dmark vantage 11th place http://hwbot.org/submission/2214119_

Aquamark 6th place http://hwbot.org/submission/2214118_

Really need some ln² in the house for really bench this card with Untouchable.

This is pure workmanship on highest level this Untouchables !!!!

Keep it going with top hardware Evga !!

EDIT UPDATE :

GTX285 + Untouchables on LN² +1000Mhz core :

I'm interested in seeing what kind of boost these PWM cards give to GPUs. Stock PWM Vs this.

At the moment, I consider them "psychological warfare"

Where is the ''I like'' button ?

don't know, can't you make a button here? :P

It will be better, more stable and better OC then stock PWM,

because stock PWM was only 4phase and now with the Untouchables Rev0.1 it's 10+3phase, only the vMEM is not used, mem still get's it's power from stock PWM.

Only 10phase from Untouchy are connected for vGPU, much more cleaner power, less rimple effect in current etc.....

And fine tuning voltages by EVbot

+1

I bet cards vary more from sample to sample than the extra PWM yields.

every vga is different, the one is better then another one.

But cleaner power, less rimple, more ampere possible, accurate setting of vGPU etc etc etc, will only make overclock better, higher and more stable then the stock PWM.

It's pure electronics offcourse.

GTX285 with only a 4-phase PWM???

GTX260-192 has 3-phase :P

Are you sure the card you have is not 6+1?

The BEST card (tested & confirmed awesome with stock PWM) + eVGA PWM board might make for some nice hardware rankings, but IMHO no amount of good soldering + this PWM board will make an average card better than a great hand-binned card.

it's the idea of having fun, and make some HW points lol.

It can't be bad for the vga offcourse.

Next will be an Evga 8800GT 512mb on the untouchables.

Exactly! Even if it just gives you 30 MHZ more, it was worth it...it's not about binning cards, it's how much you can get out of what you have ;)

Excellent work there!

Looking good :)

One of the great things with this device is that it can save old cards that would have been thrown out. I have 2 x HD5850 + 1 x GTX285 that can't run without it and now I can bench them again!

Please give more pics of the soldering, might also a few pictures of how you put it together? How big soldering Iron do you needed ?

Vdrop? I can't see many condensators :D But nice job

More pics will follow.

Vdrop is very low, because the Untouchables is very powerfull, very stable.

Had constant measurement of vGPU while benching.

Was thinking of adding more Capacitors, but this is rock solid as it is.

hope so, i had good scores already on dice, scores posted in starttopic.

so i hope i will get 1000-1100Mhz core now, and take all nr1 in benchmarks lol.

I can't wait till wednesday hahahahaha

Thanks T.

Hope the results will be VERY good lol :P

It did go better with Dice then i thought, so i hope it will be with ln² also like that.....
