trevormacro Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Hello everybody, I am Trevormacro. I am new. I have 3dfx prototype card : Voodoo 5 6000 3700 A / Hyundai 6ns / Hank's Rework. It's a very rare 3dfx prototype card. Under 100 cards in the world. I change all 16 Hyundai 6ns sdram by 3.5ns 128bit 86pin sdram. Here is my New World Project named 3dfx Voodoo 5 6000 Gold Second Edition @200 MHz It's a Full working card. First modding part : Second modding part : Third modding part : Voodoo5 6000 Gold Second Edition : Fourth modding part : 6016 marks in 3dmark2001se @200 MHz : Hardwares : - Asus p5wdgw ws pro - Intel E8400 - 4Gb DDR2 Softwares : - Koolsmoky Betas Drivers - Windows XP Pro This Voodoo5 6000 Gold SE is a formula one! 201 MHz passed in 3DMark2001Se ps. Anyway, I am very happy to see runing my card over 200MHz for benchmarking! It is amazing! The card runs so well to 200MHz, but for runing over 200MHz, it depends from heat room. Card worked during some minutes to 203MHz in 3DMark2001se. When i remember right: wasn't it the primary goal of 3dfx to run the V56k at 183mhz? So now 3dfx got it and much more ... Your impressions, reactions ? Best Regards, Trevormacro Edited January 16, 2012 by trevormacro Quote

tiborrr Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Love it. It's a rare thing these days when 'overclockers' don't even know how to trace the voltmod or read a IC scheme. Quote
trevormacro Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 Nice one Watercool it and Vmod it, and go for 300MHz Yes but can you help me to make a very good watercool for this card : @ All: I throw the distances between each 3700 A hole of the Voodoo5 6000. Then start by WaterCooling! Give me all your reals ideas for a watercool on my Rev.3700A please with precise patterns (plans). We need to dissipate heat on rear, front of the card and on sdrams. Thanks in advance Quote

TaPaKaH Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 four fat Tek9s sideways ? I don't know what is it ? explain me please... with pictures...you could use four GPU containers and LN2 to cool the card, sideways mount because of close distance between GPUs ... but that was more of a joke Quote
Hyperhorn Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Much credit for this project! Thanks for sharing with us!:nana: One of my workmates has a working Voodoo 5 6000, too, but he handles it wit kid gloves. Quote

redmax Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Great results. I was wondering how you would get an AGP card to run on PCI Express, now I know. Quote

Hampti Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 really nice. is there any limitation because of the - Supermicro Adaptor RSC-RR1UE-AXL - Change AGP2PCI modded @66 Mhz ? does this adapter also works with agp 2.0 and 3.0 cards or only with the old 1.1 like vodoo? Quote
