zeropluszero Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Admins, i think that the rankings for maxxmem are broken. Some people are submitting the read speed as the score, others the points. Im pretty sure the score is what it should be ranked by right. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 This has been brought to their attention before but its a no-points benchmark so not much interest in it. Quote
Christian Ney Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I cleaned the ranking sveral times but still stupid people are reposting. Will do a clean up again when I have time Quote
zeropluszero Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Maybe you could make it that there has to be a decimal place so its impossible to write in read speed. Quote

TaPaKaH Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 If I recall correctly, Maxmem was added back in the day "just to see if it works out". Obviously, it didn't, so why bother keeping it? Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted September 29, 2012 Crew Posted September 29, 2012 it can/could be bugged so not good enough for reliable results Quote
uncle fester Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 The Benchmark is easily skewed, many ways to make BS scores. hence why it has no points. May aswell remove from bot as it serves no real purpose. Quote
damric Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I like MaxxMem, but I think it should be deleted entirely from HWBOT since MaxxPi is now defunct and it can't be downloaded except from 3rd parties. I vote to replace with other memory benchmarks, such as Sandra, or AIDA (yuck). Quote
