X58A-UD9 coming up?

Featured Replies

Got this from facebook:

The launch of Intel's Core i7 980X new monster CPU sparked an interesting project over at GIGABYTE, namely X58A-UD9. This is going to be GIGABYTE's new top gun board. This board is really going to be something else. It performs and looks the part!

If you take a look at Futuremark Hall of Fame website you'll see a plethora of world records crushed by the new beast.

Im expecting a revised CPU PWM with dual 8-pin CPU plugs. When X58A was launched, I was surprised/ disappointed Giga hadn't gone for that, especially when eVGA, MSI + Asus are all at it for their revisions.

I'd like to see more widely spaced x16 PCI-E slots for 2-way GPU setups. The single spacing on the X58A is one of the few disappointments i've found so far

Vince showed me a couple things once.. that was cool.
