Hi all.

Noticed this on local sales forum.

Pretty new IMO. Got one E400 now with batch Q828, this sample is almost two years newer! Makes you wonder if there´s been any improvement in manufacturing.. anyone got any experience on this with s775? It's still a fun platform to OC :D

Buy, test and report back! :D

Afaik, the latest batches of the E8600's were really good. Back in the day, SF3D and Elmor had a couple to test and they were pretty much all 6.5G, if I'm not mistaken. So ... maybe, yeah. Just maybe.

Yeah might do that, E8400s are dirt chep. Emailed seller and checked if he's using a generic pic first though

Not sure which would be the oldest CPU batches. Wolfdale was EOL in 2011, I think, but that just means they stop from being sold and not that they just stop from being produced.

I had some E8400s and an E8600 made in 2010, were not good.

I had a 6400 01 capable mid-09 chip. Nothing more recent than that. I THINk I bought a 2010 made E3110 that hasn't arrived yet :P

Hey everybody.

These are my experiences:

I've got an E8400 with FPO: Q044XXXX. It is said to be the best in my country at least on air. 3.00GHz@0.880V, 4.05GHz@1.072V, 4.40GHz@1.160V, 5.00GHz@1.400V all of these are LinX stable settings. 5670MHz spi 1m@1.520V
