NVIDIA GTX 480 Voltage Modifications

So should the ocp hard mods still be done? Unfortunately no one has posted results for this or the results are vague. I want to try it but i'd reallly like to see some positive results. Anyone? Or will i have to be the guenia pig.

1250 is good, strong card. Flashed the chillocp but it doesnt do anything, ocp at exact same settings as before unfortunately.

I've flashed chil8266 but voltage adjustment via afterburner disabled.

Also i experienced some strange artifacts in 03 GT2.

Any idea?

I don't think the chl8266 firmware has anything to do with the artifacts.

For the rest I'll have to test them on another GTX480 as soon as possible and come back to you.

so far I try OCP not wokring if you just flash chillocp...so we must still remove some resistor on PCB....I remove resistor and flash chilocp working perfect my friend

I concur. Kinks mod and Benchzowner Chilflash mod together work perfectly for me. 1.45 gpu no problem. CBB = problem now. I shorted out that resistor twice nw and still i have CBB.

Try this alternative mod for the CBB issue guys: [ obviously, you have to undo the original CBB mod shown by Kinc ]

Yes, just use a wire to connect those two legs ( pins )

Leave the alternative CBB mod as is ( I mean done' date=' connected ) and do an additional mod.

Connect a 10kOhm VR set at 10kOhm between the SMD capacitor and the left empty solder pad on the right as shown in the following pic

Well i was having problems with the cards bios loading at the end of my session yesterday. The R3E kept hanging at "Loading VGA Bios". Thats when i ended the session. So i figured i'd pop it in this am to make sure it would boot before i did anymore work on it and it boots but my destop is all artifact's. I think i killed this one. I guess i'll have to go for my 5th card today. F....k me.
