Just tested these a little, as they are 8GB modules, I only used 1. Feeling like I'm doing something wrong here. Seems low compared to others, but hey, those are 4GB modules. These are not. Tips are welcome tho.
I'm guessing they are talking about ES cpu's that have this problem. When you set for example 1.8v in bios, it's 1.6v real. On some boards you don't have this problem as it seems. Not all ES cpu's have this problem. The early ones mostly do.
Got to say, it would make it more fair for people that don't have access to an Epower or has no dead high-end cards laying around, and also don't have the opportunity to mess with a Titan or such, without it ruining their warrenty and maybe losing $1k. You can read all this as: they who don't have massive sponsorship.
I believe I once erased a bios when I had the 7970 matrix for review, before I could flash another bios, or else it would just refuse to work properly. Not sure how this is done on Nvidia.
NederNakker has the same batch. It did about 5500 superpi on SS afaik.
On LN2 with limited voltage options(1.8v) 6.1GHz Superpi. I believe 6200 is also reachable.
This was on the gigabyte Z87X-OC with bios F5d. Still needs to be tested with B10.
