Just asking in case, can an A88X motherboard be used?

It was this batch: L312B509 Not really checked SS temps, never really do. Bad habid Lowest temp is -44 tho.

Just tested my friend's cpu's. The L310B491 was not worth it, but the other one did 4.9GHz at 1.35v. It would run up to 5.4GHz at 1.4v superpi 1m with ss cooling. No screenshot of that. 5500 is definitly possible with more voltage, but I didn't have the right os to test any further at that point and only limited time.

Friend of mine just ran into this batch, L310B491. Wondering if it's a great one like you had vivi Also has a L312B509, nothing about this one yet.

Vivi, can you tell anything about low voltage cpu's <1.2v for 5GHz, regarding to the CB? Say if you have a <1.2v 5GHz cpu, will it go faster if it might have a higher CB, let's say -110, than a 1.3v 5GHz chip that has a -130 CB?

The shop let's me get a new one and turn the other one in without costs, except for sending the old one ofcourse. At least I got to test one for free @Rbby, I'm very curious!

I hope so! [EDIT] One of the worst batches i've had... Not even 4.6GHz at 1.3v... At least not stable enough to launch cpu-z, lol. I'm going to smack some people over at the shop:P I specificly asked for a batch, even checked with my contact to supervise it.

My solution for now, even though it's not the best, is to use this tool to at least be able to run a decent overclock. Got my card running 1100/1700. Not much more is in it because it doesn't have voltage control. When you use it, don't forget to use this command: atiflash -f -p 0 bios.rom. If you don't use -f the flash will not work because it doesn't have a checksum.

I tried Trixx, GPU Tweak and the latest afterburner. I use Catalyst 13.8 Beta.

Hey guys, I recently got me some HD 7970's from XFX. Last night I tried to overclock with them and noticed that everytime I raise the clocks, the system hangs as soon as it starts a benchmark, so I decided today to pick one card out and see what it's capable of. Here's what I figured out: Stock clocks are 925/1375, I just flashed a custom bios with 1050/1500 clocks(not GHz bios). At these clocks it still runs fine, but when I up the core to 1060MHz for example I already got enormous artifacts, even though it's only 10MHz more. I modded the bios again with 1075/1500 clocks and it ran fine... What is going on here? Why can't I set a normal overclock without it crashing or artifacting and when I flash the clocks there's no problem?

Yes, in your case that should probably be 1. 4 might have been in an older version actually. I use it tho I see indeed it's not listed. 5 and 6 should be used most of the time however, to prevent problems like you had. If you would have had an old nvflash you probably couldn't flash your titan in the first place.
