Did test Black PCB yesterday. It reaches about 1480 3D11... Lots of RAM freezing but no problem to run 1300 (RAM). Can not bench colder than 155....but still fine VGA.

Massman This happened with me, and with coorect BIOS. Cars is too freeze.... You have to hot the card, about -100 C and run benchmark for a lit bit, then return to 135 ~145 and set again. Mine matrix can t work well less that -155 It can cause lots of issues...includes Coldslow (with correct bios too) Sorry the horrible english

Hi Massman. Good job... I just tryed matrix, and "to me", trimpots GPU and RAM (main RAM) worked better then firmwares (SF3D shows in his thread). button helps a lot too... Nice start.

Hi friends! My friend got 2 GTX 580 Lightning brand new. He is not extreme overclocker, then he told me i can choose one to use under Ln2. when disassembling the boards, I noticed quite a difference in the two. One is black and one brown. The capacitors, while the same capacity, are also different. In black you can read everything that is written on the chip and also see the nvidia logo, and brown, it is very difficult to read. I think the same way as occurred with the GTX 480 (when the orange PCB were better than the green PCB), I wonder if anyone has any information on these boards or even on their batchs. The black 46N3A8 1045A1 N3F110.000 The brown 06N3A3 1106A1 N3R791 01P I appreciate any information on the extreme overclocking performance of the VGAs, cuz I only choose one and I can not test the second. I did have lots and lots of issues with the RAMs. In the transition from 3D to 2D (Physics test), the RAM voltage down suddenly (1.88 to 1.33V), causing filled with artifacts and crashes the system. I could only bencher between -120 and -130 degrees, because even using the hair dryer, no time to warm memories. We got to pass at 1450 Mhz game several times, but every time the RAMS issues blocked the result. In the next section I will try other alternatives. I do not think this board has awarded a Golden chip, but is classified as a good one (not the best, but has a reasonable performance). Below, the pics of the card Thats a good result

Hi guys! I was looking for a Pic i did take in a benching session, and noticed that was removed from hwbot in rev.4 The result was removed too (11min 6 sec, Spi32 in a hwbot competition, AMD stage). Why it happens?
