Adjustment for Global Points - Work in progress
Thanks for the dedication to the community. Regardless the result of the changes, is good to know Hwbot is working to be better. P.S. maybe you can leverage this fact to includde in a pool about the Top 10 OC-eSports Points. The most of the people (at least, the people I asked about), don't understand why this points can contribute to the ranking, since there are competitions that's not for all. I think it cannot be together the ranking points, but maybe people prefer decide in a pool. Thanks

Maybe for you, to call rbu ass is correct, but I don't think miseducation is the best way to go.

Adjustment Global Points - General Discussion
Maybe is all the same for you.... so ... you disagree and think is a failure. But what is the problem?.... the issue regarding the topic, or the way the Topic was published? If you think is everything all right... XTU should earn 500 points... and 3D is rewarded enough, you just gave your point of view. You are the first to disrespect someone in the topic, ... and with no reason to do it. Take it easy and no offenses, please. Just give your opinion with respect, like others.

Adjustment Global Points - General Discussion
Well... nice to know people in debate to try to improve and balance 3D rankings. I think that 2D and 3D should be separate rankings...will make better for the people that plays 3D, and not affected 2D fans. I believe will be very nice to have 2D and 3D rankings. About 4way and multicards... as you can see, very few people can bench multi cards... so, Hwbot need to balance the points, because even with weak overclocking, some guys can worth a lot of points, since there are no competitors enough to have competitive ranking. I don't think the problem is XTU worth a lot of points... if is in separate rankings... but in same ranking, I think is non sense XTU worth a lot of points to while Fire Strike Ultra (example), worth zero points... but is only my opinion. For the last, but not the least, I keep my point of view: Should be Forbidden: Engeenering Samples Not public BIOS and hardware *** Earn points only one score for benchmark *** Not mix the OC Eports points with Hardware and Global points. Some competitions are not global, and not all people can join... also competitions, the most of time, need to follow benchmarks and hardware (and usually some brand). I think Hwbopt should have some special kind of OC Sports ranking, but never mix with the Overclocker ranking... even to not force the overclocker to follow this. I don't know the conclusion of the topic, but I hope and cross my fingers to have a nice improvement to the League. Sorry the broken english

How about 3D
Nothing changed... 10 x more scores 2D than 3D... One more first page with 100% 2D scores... similar to yesterday, ... before yesterday... etc etc etc... I am not able to change nothing, but only gave my opinion that`s something is not right for 3D benchers... If I am part of development.. 1- not allowed ES CPU... and even not allowed non public BIOS, tools or weapons (if I can not buy... I cannot worth points/ if BIOS not public... I cannot worth points ... as few examples ... in order to be fair with ALL) 2- create separate league for 2D and 3D, and even create something similar to AMD and Intel (so we can see more people with AMD, not only looking for CPU frequency) 3- create some kind of achievements for the overclockers (like before)... Overclocking Legend... Overclocking Star... Revelation of the year and so on 4- give more power to lower hardware (find a way to consider and worth more to lower cards and CPUs), and even drop relevance of the MONSTER number of points in some benchmarks people competing alone (256 cores Superduper Xeons in Wprimes... as example) 5- create some kind of "old school or legacy" for new discontinued stuff (Aquamark, 01, 03, 05 and 06 even discontinued by FM ... Wprime, Spi, Pifast and old XP benches).... even some people not consider good that idea, in order to keep relevance to very old benchmarks, even Microsoft no more provide any kind of support for XP... no more drivers, etc etc... keep the relevance, but in different category 6- create some "light area" for newcomers... that can play and show gaming benchmarks, like GTA V, Metro Last Light, Tomb Raider, etc etc... in order to bring gaming comunities and grow OC community (can be followed by videos, for example, in order to keep reliability... there are very complex and detailed benchmarks, for example, Metro Last Light that read very detailed information) Please don`t tell we will have Photoshop... because nothing hardest to Photoshop 2D scores where we even don`t have validation files 7- Include some good benchmarks to plus (Fire Strike Ultra, 3Dmark 11 Extreme, etc)... and 2D (Winrar, Passmark or any benchmark you decide) 8- Do not give highest relevance to 4 way (xfirex), because there are VERY FEW competitors, and is very easy to get a lot of points just running (same than superduper xeons 256 cores)... even more in 3 cards... 1 card is most competitive... 2 cards is ok, because we even have dual GPU videocards... but to worth A LOT of points to 4 way, in my way of view, is much more about $$$ than about the effort (PLEASE, I DO NOT CONSIDER "not amazing" top dogs overclockers running 4 cards at 2000 Mhz, ... but just the SAME GUYS can do similar running 2 cards 2100 Mhz or 1 card 2200 Mhz (one option is to worth ONLY 1 score per benchmark... or max 2 scores per benchmark... for sure... the 2 best scores). I think that if I go deep inside, I can find more "FROM MY WAY OF VIEW", with respect for all guys that think different than me. The reason I have type this post is not to conflict with people that don`t have same opinion than me, but just to share a point of view that maybe still not deep analyzed... and sure, to try to help with my cent. I create this topic, and I think I gave all opinion I can here. For sure, for me... the things is not good for 3D benchers... and maybe will never be... since looks for today 90% of the overclockers give more importance top benchmarks like XTU than Fire Strike. Regardless all... with my opinion, or no... best wishes for all and sorry my awful english.

How about 3D
There are no issues to 2D.... 2D are running very well to all. The problem I related to the topic, is because is clear power and incentive to 2D, and more and more rare to see benchmarks like FS, FSE, UH, to bring nice scores. The comparison under 2D and 3D (what is hardest or what need more skill, regardless I have my point of view, no matter). Missing power to see more scores 3D, not only for the top guys, but also from newcomers, rookers, and all that loves 3D benchmark. Also the reason of the topic is not conlflict 2D x 3D fans... imho should be separated leagues... but if not... sure, award more for 3D and even more incentive.

How about 3D
Nothing against 2D points and 2D subs... 2D don't need nothing more... just competitive enough... Problem related is that looks for 90% of submissions today is 2D... The best in my way of view, is separate 2D and 3D... so we will have best 2D and best 3D subs every day.... Also will be nice to have something like we have for CPU (1core, 2cores,3cores, etc)... for VGAs (low end, mid range, high end)... I don't know and I don't have solution... just think will be more attractive for people that bench 3D, and you know, even for gaming related community, since they are focused in FPS, similar to 3D benches.
