  1. I was too fast I suppose, not that much of a GPU expert:p
  2. http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2122983_fabi_aquamark_radeon_hd_5870_443828_marks Seems like they had alot of cards at least. Doesn't look as bad as that other case at all.
  3. I'll take care of this when I'm done messing with the p4 stuff... that list is frriggin' long!
  4. I asked Karl, but I think he didn't notice:D Both SDR and DDR categories are needed, and 32bit sdr can be renamed I think (it's empty, dunno why I asked for it to be creatted...)
  5. Revision changes have always hit some teams (or users) harder than others. What matters is what's best for the community as a whole. I bet my team get hit almost as hard as KATANA, but that's life - we'll do our best with whatever rules we must follow:) I hope the KATANA members think the same way.
  6. This is more an issue for techpowerup - maybe they can fix it in a later revision? As long as it's easy to spot the difference between SLI and single card I think this is not a big issue:) No reason to lose any sleep over it. No obvious SLi results will get blocked for cheating because it says "disabled" in GPUz.
  7. I just don't feel that people like Karl get the attention they deserve:) That's all. No reason to make it worse... There's more to benching than pushing the latest and most expensive parts.
  8. :D:D I'd strangle him with a pillow if I was in the same room.:battle:
  9. The easiest way to figure this out is if another run is posted, clocks maybe a tad lower (like 1 GHz core) - without smartdoctor crashing. If you have no chance to get even close to 450k, then this is obviously bugged.
  10. Needed to do some uni related stuff I'll do this late next week This will take a little while
  11. I kinda get the limited availability part, but the same goes for handpicked engineering samples and alot of other stuff we deal with every day. The ROG expander doesn't add anything that you can't do on other boards of similar quality (E762 for example...), so if you can't get the expander, try to get the E762 and see what you can do with it. It's not like the expander gives you a 20% boost in benchmarks:p Plus, the rules are very easy to handle atm - retail availability on the other hand is difficult to define. I can't buy a 580 CU here in Norway atm, so I have no retail channels I can use to get one. It wouldn't be an improvement of the rules if a part is "available" when you can buy it in the US, Germany and Taiwan. but there are 100+ countries where you can't buy it. Then we can apply the following rule: no part is allowed unless you can buy it in EVERYcountry in the world. Bye bye HWBot, I wonder how many GTX580's they have in North Korea:D Probably just as many 580's as they have Expanders;)
  12. http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpresentation/index.php?src=wbg1&product_id=ASUOA07MU6&utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=webgains&src=wbg1&siteid=30932&cm_mmc=Feed-_-Affiliate-_-Webgains-_-30932 - seems like you can buy one if you want
  13. Some pics of the cards would be nice to see.
  14. Thank you sir I'll try it on one of the other boards next week, maybe I can shave off a little bit here and there when running dual channel The 1024m can be improved alot as well.
  15. With today's system the grinders get alot of respect because those points are just as vital for a team as global points. If anything we should try to INCREASE the attention on grinding, rather than giving more focus to the global points. I see your point, though... but IMO the side effects are too nasty:)
  16. Nice run, fatties still rock da house:D Next time, increase the pwn by using the last drops. They're always golden;)
  17. Is that alot? I ran my Conroes at 2v CPU PLL and 1.7 vFSB, they're still alive (that was on LN2 though). I think they scaled through both up to a certain point, but not that high:p
  18. Maybe I'm a conroe noob, but not all of these are FSB monsters Could just as well be the CPU. What CPu PLL /FSB Termination voltages?
  19. Report the score, and if necessary PM one of the moderators here (like me ) We'll look into it.
