  1. Is it possible to have infinite public results with all FM benches, using the advanced keys?
  2. But if I use some sort of mix, it's still water, to some degree. People use all sorts of additives anyway...
  3. I ran a chiller once, got -30c idle on it - not pure water, used some sort of alcohol I think it was. Still water cooled:D
  4. The categories are still there, but the engine redirects to some sort of HW ID (4 digits) instead of the regular one, like http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/2277/ instead of http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/core_i7_2600k
  5. But then, a water chiller uses a compressor, which means it should be classified as phase change cooling. At least from my point of view.
  6. What's aready written seems correct. PS: Me, Christian Ney and Massman are all mods/admins.
  7. I'm thinking its a good idea to announce some of the rules a couple of weeks before the challenge starts - so you can start benching the day the challenge starts, instead of having to look for parts, buy, wait for stuff to arrive in the mail etc...
  8. Only top 20 HW scores count towards the global ranking, so if you have 20 results worth 1-2-3...19-20 boints, and then get another score worth 21 boints on a piece of HW you haven't benched before, then the score worth 1 boint won't count any more, so your increase will be 21-1=20 boints for the GLOBAL ranking (for hw masters you will gain the full 21 boints), as your top 20 HW scores will now be 2-3-4...20-21.
  9. I think option 2 looks better, just my first impression. Cherry samples won't affect things that much, as only a few models are cherry picked (980x/990x for example).
  10. I dont quite get the difference between global and hardware TPP either. Haha. It does sound odd that a team would lose one set of global TPP's because one user beat another one from the same team in the exact same ranking. That cant be right. But to make it clear: for hardware TPP, it's not "inner takes all", the rest contribute 10%.
  11. http://hwbot.org/team/pure/ When I click on the position rank, worldwide link, which redirects me here: http://hwbot.org/rankings/overclocker/worldwide I get a 404 error.
  12. AFAIK the top score pr HW ranking pr team counts 100% for the team, but the rest 10%. So if you have the 1st place for like 8800gt singlecard 01 you give your team 50 boints, but if a teammate holds the 2nd spot, his/her contribution to the team will be 4.2 boints or something like that (10% of 42, or what 2nd is worth)
  13. +1 for the idea, but I cant see a good way to give away the awards without using raw boints.
  14. Latest rumours say that Massman wants at least 104% before he'll change his mind:D jk:p
  15. Adding globals to 11 wont change much, as only top 15 scores count anyway. Just another opportunity to get a decent score.
  16. http://hwbot.org/team/pure/ Says I have 506 gold cups, but I have 1012 in my profile. Some /2 bug going on here?
  17. I think only the people who submit 50 scores at the same time have a good reason to complain:p Still, that can be voided if it's possible to submit more results at once, without screwups (like open 10 submit score tabs, and when pressing submit on the first one, you do the next one and so on). You know if this is doable? I would think so, but I want it confirmed
  18. Suggestion: sort by DDR type in maxxmem ranking Think I mentioned it in another thread... but I guess this is the main thread for this kind of stuff.
