What have you managed to get with 1.52v?
I don't know much about that board, do you mean it doesn't have the option to increase it further in the bios?
-
Impressive!
-
Not cool, especially so if it's deliberate.
And even more so when people have offered to start paying a yearly fee to help with costs etc!
-
There's no need to delid
Have you tested max fsb at the lowest multi?
-
Would also recommend disabling SystemInfo, it's what caused me problems in the past.
-
Hard work paid off, nice result!

There hasn't been an official announcement yet, so I'm guessing stuff is still open to change?

All we can do is hope

The issue isn't with crazy record breaking scores, it's with cheaters who actually think and just bump their score a little to get an extra place or two etc.
Especially with the no screenshot required etc
-
If there's no way of determining a real from a cheated score then I would suggest either removing it as a benchmark or at least removing points from old scores. And since hwbot doesn't want to anger Intel I would imagine the latter would be preferable.

Can't let Giga have the spotlight for long

Guess you don't play any sports or anything either based on that kind of thinking?

Spent the same ammount in BTC beginning this year and it hit 4900$ today...you my friend invest in the wrong kind of internet points
And people think I actually work for my money, hahahahaha.
€: And let my hardware mine Ethereum since last year, not this stupid bench stuff...can really recommend - less stress, much money, such life
Can be difficult to put a price on time enjoyed

The big question: 8350K/8600K vs 7740X for single-threaded legacies?

Only time will tell I guess?

You have two pretty high end systems, and normally for competitions the idea is to be open to as many people as possible, and few people have the top end stuff, hence why it's aimed at more mid range hardware.

@der8auer: Is this offer still valid? I sent an e-mail over a month ago and never received a reply.
I emailed a little while ago and got a response, got 11.1g tubes instead of the 37g as they didn't have any in stock but yeah should work, maybe ping again

Why hasn't an error code been made for this telling people what's wrong when it's done, or adding text to the sub page stating a http (without s) link is needed explicitly?
-
Sadly they are maxed out with the stock coolers.
Great score regardless, and just gives you an excuse to take them cold now!
-
I'd be open to paying a yearly fee depending what affect it would have.

Nice to see another company throw their hat into the ring

I'm sorry to see you go Leeghoofd, wasn't my intention when I made my comments on the rig picture rule
My issue with sandbagging is I don't think it makes for an exciting competition for most. The only way to get the best performance out of people is to give them competition. If people think they've already won they might stop, and so only those doing the sandbagging are pushing as hard as they need to win, because the others have no idea. I liked what Alza tried to do, although it seemingly didn't help for quite a few people who still waited until the last day to sub.

People have already offered the idea of having some kind of membership payment available or something.
Be more open about the amounts needed etc and I'm sure something can be figured out.
