If you need more testers then I'll happily help
-
I beg to differ george.
Combined effort on mine and zens part to get fast on ryzen.
As far as XS hwbot team. I posted in private section 6 months ago...all i heard was an echo.
Many left the team is "inactive"
I street race and as far as i am concerned this is just another race.
If someone brings there car out to the races then whines complains or makes excuses my response is simple. I brought my car to race.
If your not going to race put that pile of crap back on trailer and go home.
Now you know where i am coming from and my mindset.
In a purely individual sport I can kind of understand that, but even then that attitude isn't far off just being a bit of a twit in my opinion. Being kind and helpful doesn't cost a lot, if anything.
In this case there is a team element, hence why I suggested BeepBeep2 to go find a team that actually is interested in helping him become better.
-
Hwbot doesn't need users like zen, and BeepBeep2 find a team that actually has members who actively encourage and support each other etc if XS doesn't have that anymore.

Thanks guys
Definitely more in the tank

Is there no way of knowing? I've always thought limited freq competitions are difficult as surely you could increase by a small amount and then decrease for screenshot so it just looks like an efficient run?
-
-
I agree! I would love people to write the real frequencies,
good score dude!!
+1
-
But if people don't post publicly then it's unlikely to create more interest and therefore more competition no?

Thanks mate. Efficiency could be better but only had enough ln2 for 2-3 runs per benchmarks hehe
How quickly does that setup go through it?
Great score and great looking system
-
Great score, but no cpu-z?
-
Hi,
As above, anyone got one they're looking to get rid of?
Thanks,
George

Was already planning on grabbing some KPC Blue next so glad this supports that idea

Congratulations man

RT told me I need to put more volts, like 1.85v aprox.
I would think you'll be able to get more out of it with a little more voltage yeah.
I've got to do the same with my 6700k
-
Definitely room in the tank, nice score!
-
Even with cracks I got 6200/5500 on almost all benchmarks (CB R15-R11.5, x265, HW Prime) and 6500/6000 for 2/2 for PiFast and SPi (1m and 32m) so would like to see some improvements with no cracks!
Gotta test soon
What kind of voltage? You should have room to push it, looking forward to seeing what you manage
-
According to RT I might had a TIM crack (since positive XTU temp readings), then there´s some room left
I was about to say I would assume that, since I'm pretty sure the SF3D pot can handle that chip, especially at only 1.7v.
Great score though

Interested

Not to clog up the thread but this sounds great, looking forward to seeing the results and I hope everyone has a blast!

but everyone in extreme will go down also, if they have that score. so as long as everyone in extreme is in the same boat, I feel like it doesnt matter what goes on in the other boat, as long as we are all affected equally.
I dont know, it's just the way I try and look at it, but I do understand your point.
say you are 13th and your friend is 14th and a new elite guy beats your score. you are 14th and your friend is 15th effectively not changing your rank within your league. But sadly due to the way the points work on hwbot, an elite guy could beat my 1st place hw score, so I lose points, and if the guy below me in the extreme rankings doesn't have a score for that hw, then I lose points, and could lose my position (in this example), and he won't lose anything
As I said I accept it, merely explaining what I meant

Change hobby...

Hah I'm fine thanks.
ya but your ranking only competes against the extreme and not elite. So yes point total will be less but it's still a fair playing field in extreme. It's not like a couple extreme members will be using es in extreme. It's just the points totals will be different, which actually makes sense. it's like the points naturally scale with league.
I definitely want to move back to extreme.
Not really, if some elite guys come in and beat some of my scores my ranking within extreme can change despite no one in extreme gaining points, I've purely gone down due to elite guys no?
I accept it, just pointing out why people moan every now and again, it's a bit like Manchester United playing in the same league as Southend United
-
while I understand the sentiment of how do you compete with an unreleased processor and ES army....the answer is dont be in elite league if you feel bad about this. also companies bin hundreds on hundreds of cpus every generation this is not something new
maybe people are just more open about it now.
I think an issue with that thinking is even if you don't compete in Elite League, you're still competing against them
-
Great to see you back benching, nice score!
