  1. Thanks Guys for attending the event. I've been quite busy and might not have been able to sit down for a chat with everyone, but that's just a good excuse to come back next year! Thanks to everyone who gave a hand in the organization, the competition (our LN2 refill masters), the workshops (all the FFOC members) and of course everyone else attending and overclocking. Hope you had a good time, let us know how the event went for you and we will work on expanding again next year! Bit thanks to Pepino from MSI and MSI for being the Epic Sponsor of this event. Hope you liked the new format of the MOA as it is integrated with the World Series. Thanks Seasonic for continuously supporting all of the World Tour events around the World. And Thanks to Klevv for supporting this European event! Without sponsors, such large scale OC event (Competition, Workshop and Gathering would simply not be possible) For those who want the pictures, they are all uploaded here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-LvzkRobcqaVEFNQjlrR2hoZHc You can also see them and share them on facebook : Thanks to OCTV all the replays of the matches are here: And for those who are interested in the Open Benchtable, we are considering selling the prototypes from the event (specially engraved) - please register on the http://openbenchtable.com website. Thanks!
  2. If it's not cold what's the point of Canada trouff?
  3. Details on the competition / hardware and structure will be published on Monday. Meanwhile for those who want to join, I'd advise you to take care of ticketing and accommodation. GA expects above 15k visitors and 1700 players this year, so if you don't want to sleep on the floor ... that would be the first priority
  4. Hey filmbot! So no problem to arrive on Friday evening actually, because the LanETS doors only technically open at 5pm on Friday. We've got a little LN2 training at 7pm. and then the LN2 starts to flow. Here is the schedule as it is right now: (left to right: Friday / Saturday / Sunday) So basically, after we've done the LN2 training, its LN2 access all weekend until Sunday 4pm when it's packing time. the schedule says end of day 1 etc, thats only for the workshop. Overclockers can bench all night of course. So you won't miss any of the fun arriving Friday evening at all Looking forward to see you there!
  5. @buildzoid shot you a PM. so for now we have 3 volunteers? I would actually make it shorter 3h is too long, the match is what matters most. For a start with system ready to do, 30min match is sufficient. I'd rather make more matches on different benchmarks than something that lasts forever.
  6. Great idea. And we've got here all the tools to make this work (and actually already configured for it ^^). Massive internet, in-stream server, mixing knowledge and stream out + possibility to have one or more remote commentators. Having them locally would be best though to reduce lag. As you mentioned, 2D is the easiest as with capture cards it works quite simply, 3D is always a bit tricky and to do things right, it would require a person on each end to keep things running properly. So 2D for trial might be the best option. Nevertheless, if you are motivated, we can do a trial. If you want to be the commentator, you are very welcome! Then we just need two guys to stream and then from our side we can take care of bringing all the pieces together.
  7. Thanks @Taloken and @GENiEBEN ! Awesome work. Will add these to the videos. @GENiEBEN, ok wil do
  8. Ok, Update Added today the english text for the GPUPi video, have a look here at the translation remaining : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sm5jjH_sUTbMgpxF-5A7j-igYfxS9KoptJlXBjQWsQk/edit#gid=0 Thanks ahead for all the help! (If you do translate, don't forget to set the language cell to "TRANSLATED" in the google docs, so I know it's awaiting subtitle upload
  9. Half the tickets are gone, and the pile of available hardware has reduced significantly. Guys - Don't book your spot last minute, or you will have to carry-on all your gear. Which means ... less hardware to take back home from Taiwan ^^
  10. We've added a few more videos Status updated here for those that want to give a hand with the subtitles, thanks! https://docs.google.com/a/overclocking-tv.com/spreadsheets/d/1sm5jjH_sUTbMgpxF-5A7j-igYfxS9KoptJlXBjQWsQk/edit#gid=0
  11. We haven't announced yet the hardware category limitations for the World Series, but I can already tell you that their won't be brand limitations on the hardware for example. I guess things will be around Z87/Z97platforms.
  12. @Johan45 The World Series (non amateur) is a competition that is only accessible to participants. Right now the detailed rules (hardware/ bench) isn't confirmed so I can't tell you what it will be like, but we are aiming at making it something fun and different from the usual (suggestions are always welcome here). The idea is that as we are more events throughout the world, the World Series becomes a global overclocking competition based on Live events. On the practical side, scores will have to be submitted via OC-Esports etc and outsiders will be able to follow the competition as for any other live event. (OC-Esports scoreboard & live-stream) -> And of course this isn't mandatory, and only optional. So it doesn't put a limitation on hardware to bench at the event freestyle wise. ------ @tran You can come and bench what you want. For the Word Series, as mentioned above. It isn't defined yet. We might actually announce it there only to keep the surprise hehe.

  15. Up guys, just a quick message to Thank you all for you contribution throughout 2014! You guys did more than an amazing Job. These subs are extremely important as they guarantee that new crowds that don't necessarily speak fluently English can nevertheless join our community and learn how to generate valid scores for HWBOT. Remember to always update this file : https://docs.google.com/a/overclocking-tv.com/spreadsheets/d/1sm5jjH_sUTbMgpxF-5A7j-igYfxS9KoptJlXBjQWsQk/edit#gid=0 This is the only way for me (unless you send me an email) to know that you've made some progress. Thanks!
