  1. Waza is more effective the less your CPU has cache. Its not only 5sec on old machines but more something like 30-60sec. PAT is in Memset Performance Mode. It was actually a feature for i875. It helps, though not that much. And for the MSI board, I used setfsb if I remember correctly. Damn its not too long ago. I really cant say if I used setfsb or some different prog.
  2. Some things: My northy is a good one. Though its not a crazy chip. With watercooling I can reach 3,9Ghz but thats it. The result itself was done with tweaked windows, waza and PAT enabled. IC7 is also a good mobo, so all in all and because P4 improve a lot with high memory bandwith its a good result although only 2T. I dont know how fast those VIA boards are in general but they should do 280-300Mhz fsb. Similar VIA Chips do 266Mhz by default. But there seems to be no pci lock on those systems and thats why sata controller seems to fail early (arround 210fsb). Once Sata controller is disabled and your are using ide, fsb should go pretty high. I wasnt able to set 2T successfully in Bios although my TCCDs should handle it. So its either bad bios or chipset related. But on i865/i875 1T, CPC, should be possible. It may be that those 1gb sticks dont want to work with 1T.
  3. Try CELERON LGA775 336. It wasnt actually a good idea to include this LGA775 in the middle of the name. Its just not that useful there...
  4. I just can say that youre right and this should be added. But you probably have to post this in support tickets so Antinomy can see it.
  5. As promised I tested those sticks. Although with an IC7 they do 265Mhz with 2,7V. But, and now the bad news, I couldnt get 1T working. pm me if your still interested
  6. Yup, this was it what I talked about. Really wondered how I could win that stage. I knew that Coldest made his entries earlier than me. Though, I didnt understand the rules correctly. I always thought in case of a tie, submission in first stage would determine who wins. Anyway, thx Gigabyte for this great Competition.
  7. Qimonda/Infineon CE5 do 260-270Mhz CL3-3-2. But cant test properly, as my Lanparty NF4 doesnt like them. I have one stick Qimonda DE5 which alomost do 290Mhz. Need to take another mobo to test them fully. Let me know if you need something have 35 1gb modules from different vendors but mostly qimonda
  8. Im not a programmer but, is it possible to detect the highest multi available of the current CPU? Because most results with a modern Intel CPU shows right now no frequency. And users usual dont edit their result afterwards to include it. Or actual frequency is detected during the benchmark process.
  9. 2x512mb gave me 0,3 sec. I was actually quite impressed didnt knew that difference is that huge...
  10. But this shows that there is an error in the name scheming. Instead of 4050+ it should be 4050e. And default clock is 2100Mhz instead of 2500Mhz. 4450+ should be 4450e
  11. Similar Sorting Bug like Tasos experienced: only first 5 results appear There is no way to show places 6-20 in the ranking. But clicking button for places 21-30 let them appear. So it seems Hwbot has problems with the Top20. But its not always the same, selecting P4P800 Deluxe show up to place 12 Also I experience some problems with german translation. Showing some letters that shouldnt be there for sure...(see attachment)
  12. Yes, it will be probably on 12th May and not next year. I just exaggerated it a little bit because I dont understand what Massman has in mind when he changes the schedule so that nobody can see it anymore because he changed the year to 2016. I mean, which advantage does it have? Just because it would be a surprise?
  13. Once again, you cant since the competition is already closed.
  14. Is this now official 12th of May 2016 or what? Its as always some special mystery involved. First, you can see in OC esports schedule for about half year that it starts 14th April than it really starts on that date but there is just one stage visible and now it got postponed till next year. It would just be useful to know if there are any plans to start it in the next two months as organizing a team meeting is getting even harder without knowing exact dates.
  15. Why dont you resubmit with the correct screenshot? Ofcourse your entry for this competition is lost. You cant change your competition entrys afterwards for obvious reasons.
  16. VGA yes or no heavily depends on platform. Some profit much like s775 some nothing at all. Last time I tested s1150 I gained nothing.
  17. I think the idea was to have something like a s939 vs s478 competition. But as s478 cpus have no chance @2800Mhz against a s939 CPU, s478 got removed. I guess there is no frequency cap in stage 1 but your're right by now Massman or Antinomy have to correct introduction text to avoid confusion.
  18. Something tells me that Massman postponed TeamCup. Its just users dont know this and submit anyway.
  19. I could imagine he means something like this...
  20. If I remember it right last year, limitations from all stages were visible before cup started. So we actually made progress here. But the good thing is that we can discuss about certain before something starts. Maybe someone should poke CPU-Z Author to add uncore and nb frequency in valis? Also HM87 boards dont get recognized... There is just "Haswell" instead of HM87 in motherboard section.
  21. The current lineup doesnt look much interesting. I dont like to buy a 2000€ Gaming Notebook to have a chance winning that HM87 stage. And it would be cool if Massman would also allow Socket 771 CPUs. Its just, I dont see why we should spend more money than necessary. Lets see if the VGA stage is a little more interesting. AFAIK, CPU-Z valis dont include Uncore or Northbridge. So verification needs to be done by screenshot I guess...
  22. Didnt know that your are already clean up db by yourself... So your next task is probably cleaning Socket 3 section for oldschool competition? Oh and thank you Mr. Paco.
