  1. Just came across this: Shouldnt be Asus Cusl2, Cusl2-M, Tusl2 and ST6E be 815E instead of 815? And Abit ST6 be 815EP? Atleast on my Cusl2 I can verify that it uses ICH2 and therefore should be 815E.

    Soyo 6BE+

Could you add SY-6BE+? I actually have a CPU verification, but it doesnt show any information in the mainboard tab. Also there seems to be something wrong in our db, I cant find a SY-6BE+ III mainboard in the net but there is a SY-6BA+ III, might be just a typo. Last but not least, could you rename: 6BA+IV to SY-6BA+ IV. Again thx.
  3. I think I got it now, seems you just have to wait before someone do the right score. Then you just bench till you match the same. Ofcourse it could help being the first reaching the score because you may get an advantage when there is a tie in the end (and there will be a tie...) but when I look in the rules: "if two participants hit the same target starting from the earliest target the one with the earliest submission wins" (means, when you were too late in Target 03-03 you have already lost) So thx Intel preventing lots of people to take part in this competition because they use their non-english Windows variant. Actually I would say to place somewhere a big fat headline to let people know how they can fix their XTU but on the other hand you cant win anymore this one so maybe Intel will simply fix XTU before we need this temperature function somewhere in the future again.
  4. Its still very obvious which score is the correct one, as they appear in the ranking first. So maybe you should rank by score. I still dont know if I should trust this, afterwards some say "it was just a bug, target was different". (In terms of bugs, you can never trust the bot)
  5. Got it working on my rigs, no need to install the english version just change under Region and Language, the Format to English (USA). For german users: Systemsteuerung/Zeit, Sprache und Region/Region und Sprache/Datum, Uhrzeit oder Zahlenformat ändern/Format: Englisch (USA)
  6. Any update here? 1st stage would end tomorrow morning, kinda unusal.
  7. My 24/7 rig is fully updated but still I get nothing. Why doenst XTU installer checks for needed updates? Who does fully update his bench OS?
  8. No need to hurry, its just good to know that someone is still working on it.
  9. Any update here? (I know, this is probably much work but just let me know if this has other reasons for delay.)
  10. He is right: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_4/Intel-Pentium%204%20-%2080528PC1.XG0K.html Very nice CPU!!
  11. I have exactly the same problem. Two different systems with different Windows Installations, one Asus Z87 Impact for my daily rig and one Gigabyte Z97 as my bench rig give all 0 Ghz and -- Highest CPU Temp. Also latest XTU from Intel website. edit: Reinstalled XTU: no change Updated Bios on Asus to 1603: no change Used Bios F7e on Gigabyte: no change Tried ME 9.5: no change Seems Im lost... edit2: Tried new Win7 Sp1 installation without any updates or drivers. Just XTU 5.1.1.25. Again no change. Has this something to do with Watchdog? I got: Watchdog Present: true Running at Boot: False Failed: False
  12. Asus CUBX-L http://valid.canardpc.com/65r3xw thx
  13. You have to move the mouse in the corner of your screen so your mouse pointer dont interfere the moving windows. It was actually never about moving the mouse as fast as you can. I try to imagine a PCMark05 Pro see someone benching and thus moving his mous rediculous fast and wonder: "Should I tell him? Oh no its just to funny..." Anyway, Cinebench 2003 was a good idea in TeamCup. Why not also for Pentium III? Only downside is that there are no hardware points enabled for this one. some more name proposal: Vintage Hardware Festival Series
  14. That would be nice. But cant find any. Seems that, apart from those China fakes, some Laptop Manufactures soldered these bga cpus on socket 370 adapters but why? edit: some more pictures
  15. Thx for your feedback, good idea to add socket 478A! I was just confused by all those similar sockets. I have one Pentium III-M here in front of me and its pin compatible with Socket M, too bad it will never work with my i975Xa-YDG... Anyway I forget to add Celerons for Socket 478A. #18 Also add to Socket 478A Mobile Celeron 733Mhz (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 800Mhz s479 (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 866Mhz (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 933Mhz (Coppermine)
  16. Just doing some database cleanup and additions. Sometimes its a little bit hard to make everything correct as CPU-Z doenst distinguish between BGA and PGA sockets. In this case I didnt added them twice. But by looking in our db MCA and MMC seems to be detected so I added them. Unfortunately CPU-Z is buggy detecting most Sockets as nanoBGA2 which seem only correct for VIA CPUs. #1 add new socket: BGA 479 #2 Move Celeron 220 to BGA 479 #3 Add to BGA 615: Mobile Pentium II 266Mhz Mobile Pentium II 300Mhz Mobile Pentium II 333Mhz Mobile Celeron 266MHz (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 300MHz (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 333MHz (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 433MHz (Mendocino) #4 add new socket: MCA #5 add following CPUs: Mobile Pentium II 233Mhz 512kb, Tonga Mobile Pentium II 266Mhz, Dixon Mobile Pentium II 266Mhz 512 kb, Tonga Mobile Pentium II 300Mhz, Dixon Mobile Pentium II 300Mhz 512kb, Tonga Mobile Pentium II 333Mhz, Dixon Mobile Pentium II 366Mhz, Dixon Mobile Pentium II 400Mhz, Dixon #6 add following CPUs to MMC: Mobile Pentium II 300Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium II 333Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium II 366Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium II 400Mhz (module) Mobile Celeron 266Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 300Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 333Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 366Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 400Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 433Mhz Module (Mendocino) Mobile Celeron 466Mhz Module (Mendocino) #7 add new socket: MMC-2 #8 add following CPUs to MMC-2: Mobile Pentium III 450Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 500Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 600Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 650Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 700Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 750Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 800Mhz (module) Mobile Pentium III 850Mhz (module) Mobile Celeron 450Mhz Module (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 500Mhz Module (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 550Mhz Module (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 600Mhz Module (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 650Mhz Module (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 700Mhz Module (Coppermine) #9 add new socket: BGA 495 #10 Move Pentium 3 Mobile 700mhz from MMC to BGA 495 #11 Move from BGA 615 to BGA 495 and Rename: Pentium 3 Mobile 450Mhz Coppermine to Mobile Pentium III 450Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 500Mhz to Mobile Pentium III 500Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 650Mhz to Mobile Pentium III 650Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 750Mhz to Mobile Pentium III 750Mhz, change Core to Coppermine Pentium 3 Mobile 800Mhz to Mobile Pentium III 800Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 850Mhz to Mobile Pentium III 850Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 900Mhz Coppermine to Mobile Pentium III 900Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 1000Mhz Coppermine to Mobile Pentium III 1Ghz Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 450Mhz to Mobile Celeron 450Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 500Mhz to Mobile Celeron 500Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 550Mhz to Mobile Celeron 550Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 600Mhz to Mobile Celeron 600Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 650Mhz to Mobile Celeron 650Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 750Mhz to Mobile Celeron 750Mhz (Coppermine) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 800Mhz to Mobile Celeron 800Mhz (Coppermine) #12 Add to BGA 495: Mobile Pentium III 400Mhz Mobile Pentium III 600Mhz Mobile Pentium III 700Mhz Mobile Celeron 450Mhz (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 700Mhz (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 850Mhz (Coppermine) Mobile Celeron 900Mhz (Coppermine) #13 Move to Socket 479 and Rename: Pentium 3 Mobile 866Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 866Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 933Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 933Mhz Pentium 3 Mobile 1000Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 1Ghz Pentium 3 Mobile 1066Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 1.06Ghz Pentium 3 Mobile 1133Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 1.13Ghz Pentium 3 Mobile 1200Mhz to Mobile Pentium III-M 1.20Ghz Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 650Mhz (Tualatin core) to Mobile Celeron 650Mhz (Tualatin) Pentium 3 Celeron 1.066 Ghz Tualatin to Mobile Celeron 1.06Ghz (Tualatin) Pentium 3 Celeron 1.130 Ghz Tualatin to Mobile Celeron 1.13Ghz (Tualatin) Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 1200Mhz to Mobile Celeron 1.20Ghz (Tualatin) #14 Merge Pentium 3 Celeron 1.333Ghz with Pentium 3 Celeron Mobile 1333Mhz to Mobile Celeron 1.33Ghz (Tualatin) #15 Add to Socket 479: Mobile Pentium III-M 700Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 733Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 750Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 800Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 850Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 900Mhz Mobile Pentium III-M 1.26Ghz Mobile Pentium III-M 1.33Ghz Mobile Celeron 667Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 700Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 733Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 800Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 866Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 933Mhz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 1Ghz (Tualatin) Mobile Celeron 1.26Ghz (Tualatin) #16 Move to NanoBGA2 VIA C7 1000 VIA C7 1500 VIA C7-D 1500 VIA C7-D 1800 VIA C7-M 1600 VIA C7-M 765 VIA C7-M 784 VIA C7-M 795 #17 Move Epia M1000 from CPU to Mainboard This is a Mainboard not a CPU. 17. Problem is: I simply cant find a Mobile Pentium III with 667Mhz. Its either 650Mhz or 700Mhz.
  18. Well I it seems that this CPU official never did exist. Or at least I cant find any information.
  19. Some years back we had monthly competitions on hwbot often featuring some old but gold hardware. Often goal was to achieve fastest result in benchmark x featuring using socket z. There was often lot of research necessary for finding best CPU / Mobo combination and of course find those items on the market... To be honest, Im missing those competitions... I know Team and Country Cup often has some stages for old hardware but why should we do this fun just 2 times in a year? So my idea would be to establish an ongoing competition using all results that are already in the bot. I really, really would like to see some of those benchers who showed incredible skills with old hardware a little more often in the spotlight. So the idea is to create yet another league called "classic" which is actually something more of a mod to hwbot than a league. You know playing with old hardware can be really fun but often there isnt much competition and therefore points worth spending lot of time for research, modding and of course hours of time just to complete some benchmarks. The idea is to create a ranking which just includes classic cpu sockets featuring single core cpus (Intel up to s478, AMD up to s754) and graphic cards featuring up to dx8 (Geforce 4, Radeon 8000). Ranking system could be the same like we already have in the bot. Means best 20 hardware points and best 15 global points plus a classic hardware master league equal to current hardware master league. Oh and global points would be awarded totally different. Right now we award a zillion of different benchmarks with globals. Of course not a single of those new benchmarks runs on vintage hardware. So the idea is to concentrate on the classic benchs and instead award a zillion of different cpu sockets and slots. i.e. superpi 1m slot A 2x wprime socket 370 pifast socket 479 superpi 32m socket 7 ... For graphic cards there could be fastest dx6, dx7, dx8. Of course, this would probably mean to enable points for 3DMark 2000 and 99. I hope I could explain the basic idea behind this. I think this would be fun for all who still know that overclocking was actually badly needed to have a decent system and all those mad scientists that appeared out of nowhere and showed tricks that doubled your system speed and made you feel happier than any 1.1V 5 Ghz Haswell ever could do.
  20. When I remembering some years ago I submitted a result using a watercooled TEC on a Pentium 3 which was worth 2hw points and next day I began to wonder why my position in the league was now 500 places worse... Really I couldnt understand why bot do this kind of punishment for trying something new. So my opinion is, dont let us think too strict. Why people always have to be part of one particular league? Whats the advantage? Lets say your are an ambitious Rookie. During the first 6 months you have your place in Rookie league all is fine but maybe you say, its not enough for you to be only on water. Maybe you want to participate a team event with DICE or LN2 and someone of your team mates will guide you to do than you would switch automatically to extreme. -Very bad So my proposal is let him rank in Novice, Enthusiast and Extreme at the same time! Of course your extreme cooling results would only count in extreme league but the rest of your results remain like they were before. You stay in Rookie league to have the motivation but also see what happens when those 6 / 12 months "protection" is over. I know this would require some extra server power but it would be my view of a fair and motivating ranking system
  21. bugs: Challenger 2015 Div V Round 1: "Only make submissions with a 195 videocard." Challenger 2015 Div II Round 1 Heaven DX11 "a videocard with the 2375,2408,2049,2050,2064,2116,2370,2110,2334,2114,2160 core"
  22. Yup, finally I tried them. Seems they can produce some good results. Still think, this should be probably under .58 but still a huge jump from my old ripjaws.
  23. You definitely need X04, I train my mems now with samsung tight memory profile, then I lock rtls before I alter some of my subs. If this is booting I try to tighten rtls even more. And then I work on the subs and thirds. Often I need 1-3 trys before board boots successfully. At least I figured it out, though it seems my performance is still poor but at least Im finally under 6 minutes.
  24. Everytime I submit, I dont get ranked. I always get rank n/a and not "Strunkenbolds best xyz position". I always have to hit recalculate. Very annoying.
  25. You cant set tcWL=6 with other bios then X04. You have to stick to 7 otherwise board hangs at C0.
