1. Made me curios, bios doesn't control cpu settings in this generation, the ME firmware does, but then that's inside the bios so you're kind of right. Possible on all all M CPUs? I'll take another look over the whitepapers, don't know what registers are involved
2. I can't touch this with my setup, missing an extra 700ms I will look for this board and do the mods as well. It's the hp dv69xx right? You could consider replacing the PLL chip with a pin-compatible one that works better (I will do some research here).
3. Well the tool is opensource, so it could be fixed, but who has time? Are there any similar boards from iWill?
4. Try the 2004 version http://1drv.ms/1K3qkST If that doesn't work either, you're out of luck.
5. Unlocked cpus will not be added. You have to submit as the original cpu, and select how many cores are unlocked.
6. Bios settings are irrelevant (sometimes), I also have 12GHz bios screenshots, doesn't mean it actually works in Windows. Let's see a validation link.
7. Yup, perfect, now wait for CN to add it.
8. Hey, Those 'Vaio (#Chipset)' were added by Karl for me BEFORE we started adding each Vaio board as 'Vaio #ModelName'. Right now, for each Vaio board attach a screenshot from dxdiag (or other tools) with model name, and that's how it will be added in the database (minus the letter indicating the colour, W/B). Bonus points if you also attach a pic of the actual board, I always forget that
9. All S6 where added a couple of days ago.
10. Impressive, but there's some catching up to do
11. You have to enter the 'Frequency' field, not 'Frequency (Max)'.
12. Ha no one? Let me check an older hdd that has portablebenchmarks 1.5 installed, should have 4.25 kit there. EDIT: nope, check if someone has the installer of portablebenchmarks 1.5.
