Because it's a low clock competition, the bigger the clock the worse it's ranked. Basically, 6800MHz is the worst score in that ranking, hence why it tells you to beat it, by uploading a score with LOWER frequency. It makes more sense when it's sorted A-Z rather than Z-A.

Shouldn't be a problem, even in a normal fast run the loops aren't all going to be equal, by design (every 4 loops was it eh?).

There's public API that allows to pause executing code. Also using a debugger (ida,wdasm etc.) you can simply step-in/pause, controlling each loop easily. Oh well, can't wait to get back from holiday and start the machine up.
