Well if you can get access to vendors for prizes be my guess David, I don't have time to lobby for that. I wanted to get something done for Country Cup but lost track of time Regarding new hardware I think that is what the Challengers and Country Cup (excluding 2019 edition) are for. Many were happy with Team CUP regarding the fact that the need for new aka expensive hardware was low. My biggest challenges in OC is the nr of OSses to get the efficiency of the platform right per benchmark,. Coinciding the labour it takes to get these decently running takes sometimes more time than to actually bench the hardware lol. I really hope Intel can fix the XTU, this is an easy benchmark that can attract people to the OC world and it is a stress tool in one BenchMate will be a big bonus too, we will see how the integration develops this week

False accusations and removals of scores.

benchmate scores will be integrated with the other subs in the near future. For now you can take the screenshot from the benchmate result folder and sub these in the non benchmate categories... safe and points = win win -
Always interested on another approach or other point of view how to make OC more interesting and/or the compos more challenging
-
And btw don't report scores done on Win7.... ?

try to see the whole aspect of things, your setup might be safe, a friend running a similar setup might produce bugged scores... benchmate assures us all scores are skew free and competitive

open benchmate, select CB R15 and run it. After CB completes open CPUZ for CPU and mem tab (make sure the rendered scene does not get blocked). Afterwards click on the benchmate program and click on save score. Another window will open and click once more on save on the new window. the score will will be saved in the result folder of the benchmate program. A valid screenshot will look something like this: Nobody ever said your score was cheated or invalid, but now being guarded by the BenchMate programwe know for sure nothing is wrong with it. That you score similar means the load of the app is really low, which is good. So you can competivively bench!! -

2200G is exempted for 3Ddue to VEGA onboard which has no Win7 drivers....2D scores will be pulled if using a discrete GPU. Issue is that you can get higher scores out of the blue due to timer skews. Initially it was thought this happened with motherboards with bclocking ability but the problem is deeper. Anyway the BenchMate tool will haver a new version out soon with added benchmark support. Sad but true Geek is a no go anymore on win10 as the vendor does not approve the extra security checks BenchMate does... their loss... Moderating this takes time.... -

if you want to bench properly you wan use the benchmate tool from Matt and bench the included benchmarks and re-sub these. Windows 10 subs without Benchmate will be removed, nobody accuses you of doing anything, the scores might be bugged and we don't allow any tolerances... Intel fixed this generations ago, too bad AMD didn't on their latest CPUS -
I only did most of the first Ryzen gens ( so your subs ) When back from the clinic I'll go for the Ryzen 2xxx results.... Ryzen 3XXX cleanup is scheduled for later this week... The issue is that scores can get bugged due to skewed timers in Win8/8.1/10 and Server variants. The thing is Intel fixed/adressed this from Skylake generation on, AMD did not bother... This is why BenchMate will be THE SOLUTION to use Win10 on ALL AMD platforms. BenchMate is more than that, but that's another topic. The integration to submit straight from BenchMate is under construction, so momentarily you will still have to use the screenshots found in the Result folder of BenchMate. Just hang in there, hopefuly this all works out for the end of the year

Sever old submissions block for Wprime version?
Leeghoofd replied to Ace123's topic in Submission & member moderation
I can't seem to down that version when I click the 32 or 1024 wprimes from the Benchmark list. Where did you down it at ? Anyway since my first benching endeavours I never subbed with anything else than 1.55... -
Sever old submissions block for Wprime version?
Leeghoofd replied to Ace123's topic in Submission & member moderation
We use 1.55 version at the BOT because it reads out more accurately and doesn't round up or down like eg 2.0 Download here: https://hwbot.org/benchmark/wprime_-_32m/ -

Team MElloW Yellow is everywhere -
HWBOT rule was if you benched on Win8/10 you had to disable the points as AMD was and is still plagued by the RTC bug. Either we continue with all these subs ( being bugged or not) in the Dbase and keep them pointless or we remove them. Internally we opted for option two and start with a clean sheet Sorry for any inconvenience

Good grief... Well done -
Pcmark Vantage =/= Pcmark05,... The Greeks knew how to properly bench it

Final word: There are far too many "maybes" in this story from my point of view: Maybe the CPU was indeed shipped Dead Maybe it got damaged during shipping due to bad packaging (hence why I always take pictures of it) No clue how this parcel company treats their packages, but the way it ended up on Nocinite's doorstep is an utter shame! Now is that the french parcel company that did the damage or the one in the country of arrival... Maybe not have been a bad idea to have tested the CPU first without modding it and the list goes on.... Well everybody will take sides, but neither I nor HWBot can actually determine who's too blame for this crappy situation. Due to the reasons listed above. Interesting to see some people taking sides and decisions while they themselves also have been involved in similar matters, doing the exact same thing.... In fact there are no winners in this matter, Let us take a few examples: Seller ships maybe a perfectly fine CPU, but end ups DOA, Buyer wants his money back. Seller looses The seller deliberately ships a dead CPU, taking the risk of loosing all credibility and even vendor support, not wanting to do a refund: Seller and buyer loose The buyer gets a dead CPU, no refund arrangement,: Buyer looses, seller gets banned from his fav website Seller does a partial refund, while knowing he shipped a perfectly fine CPU: Seller and Buyer loose Seller sells a perfectly fine CPU, Buyer thrashes it but gets full refund: Seller looses .... I think we all had our ordeals already buying used parts, nothing can ever be warranted especially in this niche hobby of ours... never use Paypal friends if ever you want to have sort of backup in case problems arise

nope, you can use eg E8600 and run the bench at 7X This should NOT be the case, if you want we can extend till the 3rd of January or such ( for your peace of mind) Bclock stage, motherboard socket Xeons will be allowed yes for S775 I have no problem with the big shot cards for Country Cup
