  1. just make a screenshot via benchmate and look in the according scores folder. FYI Frederik is on holiday so straight upload can not be implemented yet
  2. Can we move around the result screen of the benchMate? Now when taking a screenshot it jumps to a predefined postiion here, so sometimes blocking the CPUz sreens
  3. CPU no need :p Good score Matt, nice to see the Cookie still takes cares of the boys down under
  4. Any chance to get Wprime into the bundle Matt, before the 10th? I'll split it up in INTEL and AMD new and Legacy, or you think we need to do two Intel classes as well?
  5. I needed two KB updates to get CB R20 running here, but that's not GPU :p

    4.8GHz 6700K

yeah it is a caseking binned 6500 hwbot prime cpu
  7. One thing at a time... new point distribution for benchies are not even in a draft, but we need to move on at some point... First up the Benchmate testing compo, the rest will follow...
  8. There's no winner in this all... Everyone will loose points.. For your info I have benched each cpu on ln2 for xtu... Nevertheless the last days were a real eye opener that this benchmark still has major flaws. On top of that, the amount of subs makes moderation a total nitemare: no way of differentiating any of the later versions. No way to tell if it was intentionally bugged yes or no... Yes George any benchmark can be cheated, but you can usually detect it way easier than this prime95 software output. How do I moderate these subs? I can pull all out of whack scores... But some versions just score better on some hardware.. Some need 32bit, others 64bit... There's no proper foolproof way possible. I stated before it should have been pulled way sooner. Anyway I take it on me, call it abuse of power, but I need to take into account the best for the community. I hope we can properly test XTU 2.0 before it will be released next year. Intel told all the feedback from the hwbot members is being taking into account and them issues are being ironed out.

    4.8GHz 6700K

I did a quick run on my daily setup 1.32 is what the CPU needs for this run: https://hwbot.org/submission/4185691_leeghoofd_hwbot_x265_benchmark___1080p_core_i7_6700k_29.137_fps?recalculate=true Cooler is an average BeQuiet top down cooler.
  10. Sandy Bridge (2500K) is mostly fine at around -30 / -60... some CPUs scale with cold , but mostly never colder than -90. Ivy Bridge (3570K) is a full pot CPU generation as long as you set bclock from the start above 103.5... set 1.85Vcore and let her crunch!!!
  11. yes however they will remain bointless...
  12. Firefox user ? If so disable hardware acceleration or use Chrome
  13. Why do you think it took us so long to finally do this. We know it's unfair for those that got honest scores. But it's impossible to differentiate btn honest and bugged outputs, especially with air or water cooled setups that got better scores due to elevated temps. Some intentionally did it for sure. It was a tough decision, reversing is not an option.
  14. Catzilla too easy to bug too, hence why it lost the points Legacy 3DMarks are too easy points with a strong cpu, no more need for a GPU OC CB R20 and Port Royal for sure in the near future
  15. Even older mobile 4 cores get a boost with heat... It is totally uncontrolable... There's no code change in the save file since a long time.. So we can't differentiate the versions anymore like we can with gpupi...

    4.8Ghz CB stable ?
  17. lo all, I did some testing yesterday to confirm the findings regarding XTU as there are way too many bugged outputs on the Bot. I tested a dozen of versions yesterday with the 9700K on H20 and Cascade on Windows 10 Findings: XTU performance is very inconsistent. Scoring 2900 one run, a rerun goes up to 3150. XTU performance output is too depending on the installed versions, as we already knew the 64Bit version 6.5.1.321 is easily outperforming any older versions. Till now no way to seperate them, Intel is working on it, but we loose too much time as 10K subs chime in weekly... The mix of 32 and 64 OS version requirements doesn't make things any easier It seems XTU loves Heat iso Cold, not being able to replicate a score done on H20 versus the setup under the cascade. Put the fans on low on the H20 setup and score even higher… sure... Especially the temperature issue is the last drop for me as headmoderator, Seriously if one overclocks and runs colder one achieves a lower score for the same processor speed. The Efficiency/MHz gets totally lost the colder one runs... I feel this point withdrawal is a thing that should have been done earlier, Sorry for those that will loose a heap of points but the current ranking doesn't reflect the true spirit of Overclocking. Fingers crossed that XTU 2.0 will be the next big thing… I've been a fan of XTU for quick stability testing, but the many bugs that slipped in over the years made it as one of the most unstable benchmarks we have implemented at HWBot.
